2017 Reading Challenge discussion

My friend Jackie recommended this book for our library system's Mock Printz, and I am so glad she did. I might have been tempted to read it by the cover (which I found incredibly striking...and if you have a non-library edition, look inside the book jacket!), but frankly I'm not sure the description would have pulled me in. But I'm really glad I did read this, as Andrew Smith is writing some of the most thoughtful, well constructed, and interesting teen literature out there right now. I can't wait to see what he does next!
