J. Jaffray Looking for anything along the lines of The Red Queen, 5th wave, Delirium, Across the universe, etc. One of my favorite genres is YA dystopian or post-apocalypse but I am finding it harder and harder to find good ones.
Thanks!!

bbeii | 1 comments Have you read The Grace Year by Kim Liggett? It’s dystopian fiction. I started it a few days ago and it’s pretty good so far.

After a traumatic betrayal, two lifelong friends are torn apart.
Drew and Calvin grew up together in the Futuristic city of Chreos. A debt-fueled dystopia where the rich own the poor. As orphans they relied on each other to survive, but as Drew falls deeper into drug addiction things change between them.
When Drew's shady corporate employer asks him to blow up the factory that Calvin works in, he has no choice but to go through with it. Unknowingly setting off a chain of events that will force Calvin and him to work together to change the lives of every citizen in Chreos.

Sarah (sarahsunshineshelf) | 4 comments I just read Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood! It is so well written and a dystopian novel! It is a little on the disturbing side so be prepared if you do read but each chapter leaves you thinking either about our lives now, or what’s going to happen next chapter and there are endless possibilities! The character are so well written too!! They’re not blatantly characterized, it’s indirect and there’s lots of insight towards them! Check it out:)
