2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

I'm going a bit out of order because I was actually assigned to read this book back in Week 2 as part of some course work.

Thomas King is a very well-known Canadian author and this is his first fiction book in 15 years. His writing is always succinct, very witty, and yet very touching at the same time. He uses a very effective storytelling kind of narrative with 4.5 characters weaving different parts of the story as they join together to tell all the parts of King's story.

I also loved the subject matter of this book: man-made environmental disaster, corporate greed, and interesting and engaging characters seeking home and redemption.

Great book!
