I'm just starting to take a look at this.
The first one. (which I love!) I need to know from staff or a super if I can simply removed the first example ( the not properly attributed one). If it has to be merged a super may have to attend to this.
Edit: I'm looking at different sources including Wiki quote which say the quote may not be by Rita Mae Brown. First known instance has another writer attributing this quote to Brown in 1994.

Not at all! I'm interested in quotes but I'm not a Super or an expert on them.
I removed all the quotes that belonged to other authors that didn't have a like. The Ray Bradbury one does have a like though. I can't figure out how to merge with the correct entry, so that may have to wait for a Super as well.

Here is the main entry for this quote that has a massive amount of likes.

I will delete the last one you found which has no likes, but the rest will have to wait for staff or a Super.
At Knit's End: Meditations For Women Who Knit Too Much
author Stephanie Pearl-McPhee includes numerous quotes that are attributed in the text to other writers. Several of these quotes have been added to the Goodreads database in connection with the book At Knit's End and author Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, resulting in some duplicate quotes in the database in cases where the quote has also been posted under the original writer. For example, here is a quote in the database under author Rita Mae Brown
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/6708...
and here is author Stephanie Pearl-McPhee quoting Rita Mae Brown
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/1361...
As you can see, the phrasing varies somewhat between the two versions, and I'm not sure which version is more accurate.
Here is another example. This quote from At Knit's End is attributed directly to Stephanie Pearl-McPhee in the database entry.

However, in the actual text of the book the author attributes the quote to Cicero, and there are in fact two other entries for this quote in the database that also attribute it to Cicero.

I'm not sure what the Goodreads site protocol is for situations like this, but I thought someone should know about it in case database revisions need to be made.
