Did you ladies vote on the monthly read poll?

Poll

What do you want to read?
I think we'll vote and actually read and discus in February.
PS: I'm sorry I forgot to do it sooner!

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments I just finished Julia Quinn's First Comes Scandal, now I'm on to Mistletoe and Mr. Right.

Stacey (staceyissassy) I'm currently reading Stand-In Saturday by Kirsty Moseley. I'll have to do some research into some of the other books she's written. I got the impression that this is different from what she normally writes though.

I'm re-read/listening to the Colorado Mountains series by Kristen Ashley, starting with The Gamble.

Chocolatesoup | 398 comments I just finished Flesh & Skin by Kylie Scott. Kindle Unlimited bundled both books plus a couple of short stories in the series together, handy that. Some wild stuff what with the zombie apocalypse (the worldwide viral spread in the book made me flinch a bit), scary and intense fighting and then the erotic scenes, I was on edge the entire reading time.

I'm thinking about Midlife Bounty Hunter by Shannon Mayer as my next read plus I've got The House Girl by Tara Conklin for book club.

🐝 Shaz 🐝 | 66 comments I am reading The Perils of Pleasure by Julie Anne Long Pennyroyal Green series. I am still reading it through I am finding it a bit of a slow read for me. Don’t know if it’s the story or I am not in the mood for this book 📚

Shaz, I agree with you. I thought this one was a bit slow. It did set up the family members for the remainder of the Pennyroyal Green series... stick with it as it gets better, than go on to Like No Other Lover which had me ROFL-ing.

🐝 Shaz 🐝 | 66 comments I have finished The Perils of Pleasure. I did get to like Colin and Madeline. But still found the story a bit slow.
Starting Like No Other Lover. Here hoping I will like this one better 🤞

Stay with Like No Other Lover at least until the target shooting scene around p 122 which I cannot read without laughing out loud. Every time.

I tried Julie Anne Long's Pennyroyal Green series and I didn't like book 1... Even then if a boo didn't catch my interest fast, I didn't continue it or the series, or the author.
Good luck Shaz

🐝 Shaz 🐝 | 66 comments Thanks Aly, I have already bought most of the books for this series. So here's hoping I like the rest LOL. Book two seems a bit better.
