I probably have several that count for this, but the only one I can think of at the moment is The Lions of Al-Rassan. What ones do you recommend?

Cheryl (6of8) | 247 comments I see that Mindhunter by John E. Douglas was published in 1995. It would cover you for true crime, but it is graphic. It will include many of the same stories in the fictionalized tv series of the same name. I have read it 3 or 4 times, but I am into that stuff.

I know that you love mysteries. If you have not read The Mermaids Singing by Val McDermid, I highly recommend. It was recommended to me twice in 2 days by total strangers in England when I went for the Oxford Convention (one BCer and one non-BCer). Only book by this author I have read, and the first in the series which helps orderly people like you.

Sherman Alexie is problematic in the MeToo era, but Reservation Blues was lovely.

I have read several of Val's, but I can't remember right now if that's one of them. I will have to look and see. I'm wanting to say I haven't read it yet, so I will definitely keep it in mind.
