Finished Ch 5 and yeah im already loving this book so much more then Deke!

Talon is still an adorable fool, he just makes me feel with him even if his a little slow on realising things im excited to see him develop in feels. His and Millers chemistry is still stunning! 💕

I might have found new favourite in Miller though, i mean his a bit of a mess too but his so sweet and all his feels. Also pan rep! Hell yes, i am always excited when see it so that was great.

I really like how learn more of their backgrounds together and apart. Oh and get to see more of Jackson so thats fun.

I loved Talons thoughts about what Miller answers to that even more:

It shows Talon as self-depreciating as well as respecting Miller in just one sentence and is just what I need to feel the chemistry between two guys!

I love the humor in this one, like when Talon and Miller discuss that they are definitely not gay because they have always a girl with them in the bedroom, and Miller thinks "I won’t mention contemplating taking magician classes to make the girls disappear—that’s a whole other issue." - priceless!

Yay! Im goinh to read some more now and yeah i agree on Talons thoughts, i think thats how i connect to him in that self deprecating sort of zone. He seems to put off this really confident and positive vibe to others, but his also uncertain in himself.

Looking forward to seeing more for Talon & Miller, i haven't got to ch 7 yet but definitely looking forward to now 😂

Oh and i hadn't heard that saying before but i love it, Don't praise the day before the evening makes a lot of sense. You never know whats going to happen 💕

Just finished Ch 10! I am obsessed with these two so much, i'm loving the slow build up and Talon figuring things out.

Miller is adorable and I really loved seeing more of my gave Noah here, along with Maddox and Millers chat i didn't even think the comparison there so i enjoyed their chat. Realisations for Miller as well 💕

I'm just loving the devleopment for Talon and Miller, as both still rather hidden. Ch 7 agreed! Their chemistry is stunning and i cannot wait to see more xx

I am going to read more, because its so addictive. No worries Andrea, they're incredible and damn might be another 5 star for me at this rate. Still competing with Noah/Jackson for my faves at moment, but its close...

So i may have got carried away and finished ch 20... These two are just adorable, the feels between them just get me so much and their connection is incredible.

The facetimes and slow build up are working for me here, the communication between them - its rocky at points but only because they adore each other so much and don't want to upset each other or ruin their friendship... I just am in love with Talon & Miller.

Oh and the training, the push & pull they have. Also jealousy and possessive in both of them just gets me! Talking with Millers mum and sister.

The chemistry and steam, i amm really thinking 5 star for me so far, Talon & Miller have stolen my heart 💕

YES! :D:D:D Don't worry, it won't take me long to catch up. I love the next part. The build up is SO good.

I LOVE drunk Talon!

Talon pulls back and his glassy eyes meet mine.

And I LOVE the angel/devil talks in their heads!

Talon's thoughts one morning:
I can do this. It’s just sucking a dick. I’ve received countless blowjobs before, and no one ever choked to death, so it can’t be that hard. Hmm, maybe I should start small. Like a handjob. Maybe you should wake him up first before you do anything. Oh, right.


And I LOVE these swoon worthy epic moments they have!

Talon pierces me with his blue eyes—“I don’t need anyone else. I used to think I did, but that was only because I’d never been with the right person.”

The (possibly) bad: (view spoiler)[Now that they practically confessed their ... well ... attraction to each other, the closet angst I hate so much comes in. "What will everybody else say? We have to stay secretive. We have to break it up because the press can not know." *argh* - while this is a valid point, gay and big sports sadly don't mix well, it is one of the tropes I try to avoid (hence I don't do gay romance in historical settings). So far I am still enough in love with Marc and Shane to hope for more, though!

I love all these moments too! Theres just so much swoon worthy lines and their chemistry is just incredible.

Oh and i agree on the bad, its why i don't read much sports based or historical too... Although Andrea managed to make me fall in love with some 😂

Im not a fan of in the closet or such, but in this one i kind of get it and like that neither is really thinking of it for themselves so much as in terms of like Jackson. I enjoyed Miller telling his family with Talon, and Talon told his brother so its not too bad for me so far as they still confident in themselves and those close too. Along with it being new, i can deal with it.

Im loving the development so much, the struggles with the training and all of the feels. These two are so in love 💕

Oh and i adore how they're planning to come out, that thought about again and discussed things. Talon wanting to touch Miller and just be with him all the time, adorable! While Miller has got used to hiding his desire for him. I adore these two so much.

Also i forgot how much i enjoy Maddox and Damon, so im loving how much they appear here!

What was Caleb and Jet's problem again? I know he's a fan of the band and... I know there was a song called "hat trick heartbreak"? And Jet is not over the boyband person???? I have no memories of the book....

Oh i know their not together yet but in the next book description it says they were together in past, im probably not read it anyway as im not big on second chance romance.

I've never read it so wouldn't know, i've read Popstar which has Harley who was Jets ex/broke his heart i think... but i don't know much.

I know Jet from previous books and loved him, but never saw Soren i just presumed stuff happened between them in Deke based on description for Hat Trick.

Nope. Whatever happened between them was not part of Deke.

I read the first one of the Pop Star series which features Jet's boy band hookup Harley - also after the fact. So I do know from that one that Jet has a happy end - who would have thought? :-D

I adored reading the interview it was so sweet, i relaly like how Talon and Miller share their love for each other. Its so sweet xx

Millers freakout seemed strange to me but oh well i guess need a little drama, it has been rather smooth sailinh so far for them. But im glad he went to figur eout and din't ignore his feels, same with Talon and his situation with contract.

Finished it. I still love my morons to pieces. Even when they're being super moronic towards the end there. But I love that they still get through it together and don't just break up.
I also love how Miller in the end says sth about how weird girls coming forward and telling the press that even back then they were hooking up with each other was. So oblivious, the sweetheart ^^

Miller sort of explains the freaking out to the other idiot. It kind of makes sense when he puts it into words. Just takes the idiot a while

Yeah i loved how explained it all, i totally got it then and Miller might be my favourite after Noah of course.

I adore how everything resolved in team and their relationship, i like how everything not perfect and still got stuff to worth through. But together they're amazing and the ending is adorable xx

Im going with 4 stars for this book, its so close to a 5 though. I wish there were .5 stars on here. The last few chapters/quarter seemed a little rushed and speed pace compared to the rest, but otherwise this story held my heart completely.

Talon/Miller are beautiful and im so glad they got to have their story told, especially since they were not originally planned.

I agree, the last few chapters really are a bit rushed/awkward, which is why I originally gave it 4 stars as well. But I do love this one more than all the other combined, so I'm going to go up to 5 :D

I agree, I expected Talon to freak out rather than Miller, who seemed to be committed to Talon since he met him in college. Especially when Miller said:

"It’s like I’m only worth the risk when you take away the risk completely."

But - it did help me to forgive the whole closet problematic, if Talon would have freaked out I'd labeled him an a-hole, for Miller I just felt sorry.

But there is Talon again:
"Once the seed was planted, all I’ve thought about is being out with Miller and letting the rest of the world know how in love with him I am. Should probably tell Miller first. Oh, right."

*sigh*

In this story Eden Finley managed to work the closet trope in a well balanced way, the article was a bit over the top, not that I didn't loose a few tears over it. I still could have lived without this problematic, even if it had to be addressed some way or the other.

But Talon and Miller as a couple - awesome 5 stars, one falling for the closet trope.

"It’s you, Marc. Always you.” - that beats any "I love you" confessions!

I agree, the drama was a bit much, especially given how un-drama-ish they are. I was kinda expecting one of their girls to come forward and out them, or sth. But not Miller freaking out. But it does make sense, he's always been sure, and then Talon is so completely on board and not even freaking out a little, it must've been too good to be true to him...

Im glad wasn't just me, i thought the same Heike but yeah would have been annoyed if Talon so it did work with Miller being the one to struggle.

Also thought this closet situation worked for me and handled in a good way, im not huge on closeted themes but it worked here... In fact i think most books where i can live with its in sports, even though annoying.

Oh thats true Andrea, could have had someone else come forward that would have been another drama... So i guess in end im happy everything went the way it did 😊
