I'm reading Me Before You right now and it's amazing. It looks like we're sharing a lot of the same books! I'm also reading Serena next for week 3. I usually get my books through my library's ebook collection but there's a pretty long hold list for that one. I might try out Oyster just for the free trial (if you also use ebooks, you look into it!)

Laura, I cannot wait to start reading Me Before You. I am really excited about the book. The description reminded me of Jane Eyer. Have you seen the movie (Serena)? I don't like ebooks. I borrow all the books from my local library:)

I'm about halfway through Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea this week. I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy it at first but I'm really into it now.

How are you getting on with this week's read?

I finished the Nineteen Eighty-Four today.

How did you find it?

It's been quite a while since I read it and I found it kind of disturbing but couldn't put it down!

The Thirteenth Tale! It does have a lovely cover, but the contents are lovelier. I get excited when people choose books that are my favorite.

Cait, I also found it very disturbing. What did the author want to say? That people can become so self-centred and selfish that they would be ready to sell their children to save themselves? I refuse to believe that this is possible.

I actually stopped reading Serena. It's written sort of poetic and is a little hard to follow with the characters. It may be because I'm in grad school so I'm already required to read a ton. But I just couldn't get my brain wrapped around it. Ha. So I switched to "If I Stay". It's also possible that I loved Me Before You so much that any book after it was destined to be disliked.
