Avery Judd (averyisabelle) | 0 comments heyyy!!!

so, i have a group of friends and we’re like a trio. they’re super nice to each other and tell me the love each other, but when i’m alone with just one of them, it’s a different story. they’ll basically spend the whole hangout by gossiping about each other, and i just sit there not knowing what to do. one of my friends takes anything my other friend does in a negative way(Cora), and even she has confessed that she can be a little mean sometimes. and the things that Cora says about Marlee is something that Marlee would NEVER say. i just don’t know who to trust. please pray and please give advice! thx so much 😊

Cat Carstairs | 40 comments Hi Avery! I totally understand what you're going through. A couple of years ago I was in a similar situation and it frustrated me to no end. Friend drama is no fun! I've prayed for you and the circumstances at hand. My advice would be to be the example by living like Jesus. Gossiping, and especially gossiping about close friends, causes a lot of mistrust and hurt feelings. Walk by the Holy Spirit, and let God be the mediator! Trust Him to guide you to be a good friend, loving them even in the midst of turmoil. Hope this helps! ❤

claire (clairealden) | 266 comments I have this friend, Rylee, who I've know since birth. And we've been friends for a long time, but suddenly I've noticed her attitude. She's really rude to me and super bossy. And all of my other friends do what she says and always follow her every move. It's like she has an army and they're all attacking me. It's just a really toxic relationship and I don't know what to do. She goes to my church and her parents work in the youth so I feel like if I told someone, they wouldn't believe me because they trust her and her family. It's been really hard. I just need some prayer and maybe some suggestions? Thanks!

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey Claire! I have dealt with and am still dealing with some toxic friends in my own life. I will definitely be praying for you and the best advice I could give you that has worked for me is to just let her go. Try to distance yourself from her as kindly as possible, and maybe find some other girls to latch onto. Do any of your other friends feel the same way as you? Maybe you could try to build your friendship with them. Of course be as kind as you possibly can throughout all of this, I would hate for you to stoop to her level. Try to set an example of what a real friend is like, and eventually you will figure out which of your friends truly care about you. I will continue to pray for you and hope this helps!

I had to sign off of Goodreads for a couple of weeks but thank you all so, so very much! God answered all of our prayers because my mom did get tested and her results were negative! She and the rest of my family are all feeling great! Again, thank you all for praying, it means a lot to me!

So I’m moving to a new state (US) and it’s been giving me a lot of anxiety. Most of it comes from having to say goodbye to my church, we started going when they were very small. 10+ years later here we are. Our youth group is also very tight knit…since some of us have been together our whole lives. Out of the group that grew up together, I’m the first to leave, which is very unexpected.

So please pray for my peace of mind and for my youth group. 💕

Annie (annierwatson) I have moved around all my life and had constantly had to go to a new school. After my parents divorce we moved back to Oklahoma. I have been going to my new school now for three years. I have an amazing group of friends and I am so happy with the life God has given me. Well, My mom just met a new man. He lives in a different town an hour away. My mom is saying that we will move this coming May. I am so scared to start a new school with a new family. I have been noticing signs off of him to that he is not right for her. They are thinking of getting married also. I don´t wanna leave my life for something that might now work out. I really need some advice, and prayers. ❤

message 18: by claire (new)

claire (clairealden) | 266 comments Hey Annie!

I'll be honest, I've been to the same school all of my life, and have moved houses, but never cities. Currently, I am about to change churches in 2022 (If I could have prayer for that, that would be amazing!) and I have a group of tight-knit friends that I am going to have to leave soon. I actually broke the news to them yesterday. I do understand how hard it can be to leave people you love. Maybe not to such a large degree, given that I am still living in the same city, but I do get what you're feeling right now.
My sister's friend's mom told us that "there are still phones." So (once I get a phone...) we can always text. But, about this "other man", I would say to give him a chance. I'm sure there's a reason your mom is into him. Of course you want to have the perfect new father, but if you open up to the idea, you may see some of the perfect qualities your mom sees in him.
I will definitely be praying for you! I know this is big, and those big things need a lot of prayer.
I hope this helped! <3

Love,
Claire

Hi Everyone,
So, back in May, my uncle got into a really bad accident and had major brain damage. It took a long time for him to heal, and there were many times where we didn't know if he was going to make it.
And...we also learned about...a lot more personal stuff, that I don't think I want to share yet, but basically, my uncle (Terry) was a terrible husband and a terrible father. My aunt made a decision, that she was going to divorce him. So some prayers for the divorce to finalize would be something I know my family would appreciate! And, to add on, my aunt met this really nice guy who is going through the same situation (kinda) with his divorce of his wife. His ex-wife has been trying to harm my aunt's new boyfriend by taking their child away from him entirely, and Ryan doesn't deserve treatment like that, nor does his son, Grayson. So prayers for them and to get everything worked out would be amazing! Thanks guys!❤

This is my uncle, too. (We're sisters irl) and I would like to request that despite everything that has been going on, everyone can find peace in the situation.
Our little cousins have been taking it really hard, and our aunt's boyfriend's son. As you may expect, they release their stress by being mean to each other and us and I have been struggling to give enough grace for them all. This is a really hard time for everyone and I just want to be a family again!
Speaking of family, our great-grandma isn't doing too hot right now. She is doing better than before, but she is still suffering from heart failure. She is currently at a dementia care home on hospice, but she is a tough old bird and her vitals are pretty good right now. That being said, her health could decline rapidly at any minute and we could lose her, so I just pray for an easy passing for her. It's never easy to see a loved one go, but she has lived a very long, memory-filled life and she believed full-heartedly that Jesus is her Savior, so, while it may be sad and painful to see her go, I know she is going somewhere so much better.

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm so sorry, praying for healing for you and your family!!!!!!
