Wow, you guys are all going so fast!
I think I'll read the sequel to Eragon next, which is Eldest and has a red cover so that's good.

Everyone is moving so fast! And I'm just getting started. My poor puppy had to have 3 teeth pulled today and he's had a mighty hard time with it. He hasn't stopped whining since we brought him home. And he still can't get the use of his back legs in order, so he's stressed out about that. He's anxiety ridden to begin with, and is getting pretty up there in age, so it's been heartbreaking to see him like this.

I'm hoping I'll have a book done within a couple of days! Starting one right now, at 2 AM. Lol.

Oh Kathryn that sounds like a lot! Poor puppy, hope he gets better soon, sending lots of positive healing vibes your way.

Don't worry about not starting yet - we'll all get there in the end, and none of us want it to feel like it's a chore.

The first book I read was really easy but I know it will take me longer to get through my next two.

I understand what you're saying about the play. I think we read it before we watched it but it was spaced out so we didn't remember everything. I'm still mad about the Bellatrix and Voldey's situation. It doesn't seem right to me. But yes! It was certainly magical and memorable!

Yeah the animation is wondrous to witness! Going from drawings to animations to whatever they use now. Pokemon was a love of mine that I inherited from my brother. It's a good thing to get into as well because they just keep going! So many games on different devices and so MANY Pokemon!

Agh Toy Story 3 gets me crying every time I watch it and teary when I think about it.

I didn't know Rose was in a cult. I'll look into it.

Also, I hope your doggo it okay! Hopefully he has a painless recover and the vet gives you lots of good advice with how to help his anxiety

Haha Don't worry Vicki, I'm close behind you in age. I looked in the fridge for the tea yesterday when it's been in a caddy on the same shelf for 48 years! I blame the fact I was immersed in my book (which Apoorv will be pleased to know is written by an F --Alan Furst. It also has a V character, Anton Vyborg) and needed a cup of tea but my head was still with The Spies of Warsaw which I'm really enjoying.

I love it, Elisabeth! We are funny human beings, right? Our creator must've had a good sense of humor!

Apoorv will be very happy that I have and F and you have a V. If we could only add "readers" we'd have a lot of V's.

Thank you everyone for the kind words about Kylo. Sadly he had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and the narcotics for pain. So, it's been rough going. BUT, I'm making okay progress on my books while I cuddle him. he whines almost constantly, and won't sleep at night, so I'm running on fumes. But he seems to slowly be coming around.

You spell it out, so 99 Percent Mine would be N. :)

Oh wow! 12-Apr-1969? I am rather impressed by you actually remembering the exact date. Please tell me you have a spreadsheet where you list all your read books and I'm not the only crazy one here. Imagine having a spreadsheet since 1969! Makes my analytical brain go weeeeeeeeee!! :D

I think this should work as a Reverse, if need be, even though you added the book later to your shelf but read it "clearly" before GoodReads was even a thought!

I wish, Apoorv! I guessed the actual date because Goodreads wanted it but I know I read it for school in probably my final year so that's 1969. I do have a bunch of notebooks with books I've read when I started reading my way through the local library about 30 or more years ago though. I kept that up until a few years ago when they reshelved the books by genre. My system was based on starting at A and taking the next few alphabetical books each visit. It gave me an incredibly vast array of authors and genres I would never have picked up. Also meant early on I read some now famous authors like Margaret Atwood --Handmaid's Tale and Louis De Bernieres-- Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

Anyone care to guess what letter I got to before I stopped?

Apoorv, I updated post 246 because I had left off a character. I added 0 for Zila I had forgotten about. I added it to the SS as well.

I planned to read this in Feb because the author name is Karen Viggers which I figured is handy for us and it also fits another year long challenge but the cover comes up as 54% green so perhaps I should hold off until the March hand is revealed. From a quick flip through I don't spot any S matches for the Green 6 card but there could be.
Doesn't worry me when I read it.
