Yeah, I know, but looking at some of the dates around here is kind of trippy.

I know! I was born in 1990, so I was feeling a little old for a while here...

message 458: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (wordfitlyspoken) | 158 comments Yay Grandpa!

Ehehe. I usually feel old in my age group since I was a winter '99 baby, but now I feel a lot less old and more like a spry spring chicken. XD It's kind of nice to have a change of...well, not scenery, but, you know. Surroundings.

message 459: by A'laura (new)

A'laura Pyeatt | 163 comments Amanda, I am too! I'm the oldest in my group of friends in my grade.

message 460: by Hannah (last edited Aug 27, 2015 07:52AM) (new)

Hannah (readingrogers) | 41 comments 1996! But I relate a lot to the youngins because I can be a child at heart quite often. I also shared a room with my younger brother for a great portion if my life too, so I think that affected my inner childness a lot. :)

message 461: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (wordfitlyspoken) | 158 comments A'laura--ooh, cool! February 24 for me. :)

message 462: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Amanda and A'laura me too! I'm usually the oldest in my group of friends! Well, until I lived in Massachusetts (I had quite a few friends older than me), but now I'm living in Puerto Rico and it is amazing.

message 463: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments *high fives Gabriela* Everyone was always older than us. Still are older than me. The majority of our friends here are either 18-31 or 10-14 there is just about no in between.

message 464: by Sarah (new)

Sarah R. | 80 comments I know how that feels Amanda, I'm the same way. I hardly have any friends the same age as me. (I'm from the good ol' year of 1995) in fact for years my best friend was a girl 5 years younger than me. No in between ages, way older or way younger, I hear age gaps don't matter so much once you get older.

message 465: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments *high fives Amanda back* Yep. That's how it is.

message 466: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) @Gabriela You used to live in Massachusetts!? We could have met cause I live in Connecticut!!!

message 467: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments @Tamara were you at MassHope this year?

message 468: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Yeah (That would have been so cool!), me and Amanda Beguerie (in the red shirt) met in MA a little over a year ago (that's when I moved there) and now I've moved again!

Miss Jaye, I might just be your first fan in Puerto Rico!!!

message 469: by A'laura (new)

A'laura Pyeatt | 163 comments I couldn't meet most of you then because I live in Wisconsin near Jaye! XD

message 470: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments Lucky!

message 471: by A'laura (new)

A'laura Pyeatt | 163 comments Sometimes it sucks though because it gets so cold! But the summers are nice :D

message 472: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) Amanda, yes I was at MassHope this year!!! Were you? I go every year, it would be so cool to meet there!!! Although I just might freak out my siblings, them not knowing who you are and all. ;)

message 473: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments That's awesome! Yeah, I was there. I met Leah on Friday, which was the only day I went. If I go next year, I'll have to let you know! :D

message 474: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) That is so wierd! I met Leah in one of the talks too, so it's funny we didn't bump into each other. Where do you live? We should meet up next year definitely! :)

message 475: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments I live in Eastern Mass, at the bridge to Cape Cod. Which talk did you see each other at? Was it Friday? Because... I was with her for most of them on that day. O.o

message 476: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments A'laura, which town are you in in Wisconsin. Before moving to MA last year, I lived in Wisconsin for 4 years!!! I can't believe I found out about Jaye L. Knight AFTER I moved from WI. Ugh...

message 477: by A'laura (new)

A'laura Pyeatt | 163 comments Gabriela, I live in Antigo. It's about an hour north-east of Wausau.

message 478: by Stargazer (new)

Stargazer R. L. | 576 comments Amanda wrote: "I feel like the baby here..."

Being the baby's fun! And I think there's a twelve year old on here somewhere.

Gabriela wrote: "Amanda and A'laura me too! I'm usually the oldest in my group of friends! Well, until I lived in Massachusetts (I had quite a few friends older than me), but now I'm living in Puerto Rico and it is..."

I think that's funny, I'm ALWAYS the youngest in my groups. Y'all are so much fun! :D

message 479: by gabi (new)

gabi | 358 comments Awww... Well, that's about *rushing over to look it up on the Maps app* 2 hours and 15 minutes from where I used to live in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Now from Puerto Rico to Antigo, WI...lets not even talk about that.

message 480: by Firefly (new)

Firefly (fireflys12) | 256 comments Amanda wrote: "I live in Eastern Mass, at the bridge to Cape Cod. Which talk did you see each other at? Was it Friday? Because... I was with her for most of them on that day. O.o"

I always go over the bridge on my way to my cousins' house, so I've been like right near you so many times!

message 481: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments *jaw drops* the Bourne bridge or Sagamore?

message 482: by Stargazer (last edited Aug 27, 2015 03:07PM) (new)

Stargazer R. L. | 576 comments Jaye wrote: "And here I am, an 80s baby. XD 1988 to be exact."

When's your birthday? >:D I'm sure it'd be a good thing for us fans to know, if you don't mind telling us...

message 483: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) @Amanda. Going back to MassHope, I don't remember which talk it was, but it was one of the Ludys. I think it might have been on Saturday though,. but I'm not sure. We just sat together for one of the talks. :)

message 484: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) Where do you love Firefly? Are you close?

message 485: by Erika (new)

Erika Mathews (erikamathews) | 199 comments *watches everybody line up by age*
*quietly slips over near Jaye*

message 486: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (wordfitlyspoken) | 158 comments All these people who've been near each other and didn't know it. SADNESS.

@Sarah--most of my friends have been older or younger, too.

@Resterwen--haha...

message 487: by Firefly (new)

Firefly (fireflys12) | 256 comments Amanda wrote: "*jaw drops* the Bourne bridge or Sagamore?"

Mostly the Sagamore, but we've gone over the Bourne, I think, as well, when the Sagemore was under construction.

message 488: by Firefly (new)

Firefly (fireflys12) | 256 comments Tamara wrote: "Where do you love Firefly? Are you close?"

In Massachusetts.

Actually - when my best friend went to summer camp she became friends with a girl whose older sister knows your family.

message 489: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) Wait, really? Can you say who? And that's cool, we live so close! :)

message 490: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) You shoild come to MassHope too Firefly! :)

message 491: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) *should

message 492: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments Whoa, Firefly. I live literally a mile from the Sagamore.

message 493: by Faith (new)

Faith (faithblum) | 55 comments I feel old now. I'm a 1990 baby.

message 494: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments I mean technically, Ilyon was written for '97s and older...

message 495: by A'laura (new)

A'laura Pyeatt | 163 comments I'm such a rebel then, if it's written for '97's and older.

message 496: by Stargazer (new)

Stargazer R. L. | 576 comments That was my point: Not all but many of us are way younger then the age range of the Ilyon books. XD

message 497: by A'laura (new)

A'laura Pyeatt | 163 comments I usually read books that are for the "more mature" audience because I find them more interesting and I relate to the teenage characters better because I am a teenager XD

message 498: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments GUYS. THIS IS CRAZY.

I have the most comments out of everybody in the group. Even more than Jaye. And I joined 10 months after this group started. March of this year, I think...
Do I talk too much?! I promise I talk nowhere near this much in real life.

message 499: by Kendra (new)

Kendra Ardnek | 541 comments And I have the most comments over on the Jorum. I'm number 4 here. I guess it's 'cause there isn't a character chatroom over here.

message 500: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Beguerie (amandabeguerie) | 467 comments Character chat room? Dude.
I've literally been on there 10 times MAX. I haven't got time for another obsession. You see me over in Rizkaland. (Number one over there too...)
That's okay. We understand each other.
