Hey guys! I know some of you on here are gluten free. I have a German exchange student coming to live with me for 2 weeks and she is completely gluten free. She's allergic. Could any of you give me any brands of good gluten free foods you could buy at Walmart or somewhere? My family is not gluten free so we're hoping this won't be a big struggle! >.<

Also!!! I just recently went to New York City and sang in CARNEGIE HALL with my choir!!!!!! It was one of the most exciting times in my life!!!!

There's some Udi's brand gluten free products at many stores. Check around - most larger stores have a "gluten free" section even if it's small. Also Aldi has a nice gluten-free section, if you have Aldi where you live.

Thank you! I'll also just have to take her shopping tomorrow. We just needed to find a couple things to get her through breakfast before church and a snack after church before lunch lol!!

Fruit and cheese always a good choice...

Funny thing here, I got to know her separately as Erika (via email) and Resterwen (here on Goodreads). She was beta reading WPFP for me, and I like about freaked out when I saw Resterwen marking it as "read" on Goodreads.

But then I noticed Erika's (maiden) last name, which had started with "Wen" and I remembered a post that she'd written about how her penname came about, and I realized that they were one and the same.

*It was a disorienting few moments, though, because my mental image for Resterwen and my mental image for Erika were very different*

Huh, yes! I didn't realize that either! Here I thought that Erika Mathews was a "new" author to me on Goodreads when I've known her for a long time as Resterwen.

I'm reading a review copy of her book Promise's Prayer right now actually ;)

And, yes, I can't wait for Exiles either! Guess what?! I officially got a new fan hooked on the Ilyon Chronicles! I recommended Resistance to one of my friends and loaned my kindle copy out to her. She loved it and is just finishing Samara's Peril! I'm so excited because now I can fangirl about the books with her! Ilyon fangirls unite!

Yes, Stargazer. I really love how the Ilyon books feel. I just got The King's Scrolls in the mail not too long ago and I must admit I did pet it a bit. But then I was a good girl and lent it out to a friend, reluctantly...

Thank you so much! Today was a rough day. Waiting CT scan results and X-Rays and if I need surgery. Good news is, I don't!

Tomorrow they're taking out the chest tube I have in now and replacing it to get the remaining air in the top apex part of my lung. The current one is in a fissure between my top and bottom lobe of my left lung.

They'll leave the new chest tube in for a day or two and then remove it, watch me overnight, and i should hopefully be home by Friday!

Praying for you.
