January Read-a-thon!

Today was the inauguration of Joseph R Biden as the 46th president of the USA. This will start on January 21st (starting at your midnight time zone) and will end on January 24th (ending at your midnight time zone). This will be a team spell out challenge! We will be spelling out the phrases “JOSEPH R BIDEN” and “KAMALA D HARRIS”, with the first or last initial of the Main Character of the books we read! For this challenge, the main character must be involved in at least 50% of the book, though they do not need to be the narrator. I’ll be keeping track of how many times the letters are used.

A couple examples!
Once & Future: Ari Helix/Ara Azar, Kay, Jordan, Gwen, Merlin, Val, or Lam.
The Raven Boys: Adam, Ronan, Gansey, Noah, Blue, Calla, Maura, Persephone
Black Sun: Narapa, Xiala, Serapio, Iktan, Okoa (there are most likely more I don't remember since it's been a couple months)

What you need to do in order to participate:

Step 3 - Have fun and read lots of good books!

Before I commit, just a quick question, can we have started the book before the 21st? If so, is there a percentage that must be read between the 21st-24th?

sorry, I guess I was confused. Rules say: "First or last initial of main character" so I thought it was first or last letter in their name...... I got it from here.

Andy, if you want you could do the following:
Move Fairy Godmothers, Inc. to R, for Ransom. Then add Layla to L, for Layla.

Also you could do:
Move The Heiress: The Revelations of Anne de Bourgh to D, for Darcy. Then move Furthermore to A, for Alice. Then move Mujeres que compran flores to O, for Oscar.

I've been slumping for a few days now so this read-a-thon wasn't really a success for me like I hoped it would be but congrats everyone :)
