you're all good! i got the soc duology for christmas but i wanted to read the shadow and bone series before the show came out and before i read the duology (im about to finish siege and storm)

I would say yes to reading it. I enjoyed the series and the third book really gives it a nice well-rounded ending. Just keep in mind that it is nowhere near as good as the Six of Crows duology is, at least in my opinion.

No, we aren't group reading anything but this section in our group talks about the Grishaverse. If you don't know what that is, it's the Shadow and Bone trilogy, the Six of Crows duology, and the King of Scars duology, all by Leigh Bardugo.
