No I haven't. I'm reading the other group read book, but because I don't have much time it's going slower. So it still stands, when you get the book tell me and we'll read together. If it's a buddy/group read I would much rather discuss the book than just read it alone.

I didn't manage to grab this one this month either sadly, but will be up for buddy read another time hopefully get soon xx

I just started the book and read the first 5 chapters.

So far it's interesting! But it is a little confusing at the moment. I hope more explanations come soon as I continue to read

Yes, yes, it's finally here!
I'll start reading it later today or tomorrow, and I'll try to finish it by the end of the month.
I'll try to read 6 chapters each day :D

Anyway I'll say what chapter I've read to comment it before. I think it would be a nice read!

I started the book, and read the first three chapters, but I'll comment tomorrow because now I need to go to sleep.

I think I'm going to take a break from this book. I don't feel motivated at the moment to read it and I think I'll enjoy it more if I come back to it later

Aw! But that's OK, sometimes it happen.
I've read the prologue and it feels more violent than I thought. Also the language is a bit difficult? I still need to adapt to it.

I said I'll comment yesterday but I went super early to sleep and hadn't had time.

I didn't have any expectations but this was not.. I was surprised, the fighting was so unexpected. I think her age hasn't been mentioned, but if she's 16-17 and fights I'm gonna be ?? I get that YA characters are so super amazing but come ON.

So far I don't know how I feel about it, but the chapters go by fast and I like that. The whole gods thing is confusing to me for now. Like can you "become" one of the gods after you kill one or?

They explain it better on chapters 4 and 6,but that's it yeah.
I don't know but I think Lore is older? More like 18 or 19,but we'll see when she talks more about herself.

Today I went with some friends but all I wanted to do was read this haha There's a lot I don't know yet but I'm curious about this world.

Hopefully she's at least that old, I personally would feel more comfortable with 20+ but I could be okay with 18-19.

I haven't had much time to think about books, but I think this one will go fast. If I hadn't had to go to sleep the other night I would've read a few more.

I finished chapter 8 and that's it from me for today. Where are you at?

I've read chapter 9, which gives a lot of info about the new gods and the situation.
I'm liking it too! I didn't expect this but the fast pace is nice and though there is a lot of info, we know it little by little. I'm still curious about what will happen O.O

And by what they say Lore is 18. But I think she seems older because of all what she passed through and living on her own by so many years...

Yeah, the characters are young, but since it's not specifically mentioned what age I'm just gonna imagine them as 20, 20 something year olds.

I finished chapter 16 and I'm really enjoying it, the fast pace is something I need at the moment. I love Evander! The audio narrator does an accent for him and I'm just swoony.

I am intrigued about:
a) what really happened when Lore's parents and sisters were killed, what did she do to Wrath,
b) what happened when Cas killed the god.

There's a lot Lore has to explain about her past. In each chapter we know she has another trauma to add to the list haha

BTW, it's just me or... Van and Miles have ~something~ between them? Can I ship them? Huhu
anyway they're my favorites right now. Let's see what happens with the others ewe

Yes things are added and I'm intrigued about it.
We at least got a little bit for Castor's "how did he become a god".

YES! It's not just you, it's me too. The moment they met I was "yes, this is a ship and I'm loving it" They might be my favorites too. I like all the characters, but they don't stand out especially.

I'm somewhere in the middle, maybe close to the end of chapter 24

Will this book stop giving me more questions than answers?

BTW I Live for Miles and Van. I think I'll keep going for them ❤️

(view spoiler)[Wow I didn't expect that. I thought that Gil was someone related to the gods but I didn't expect it was freaking Hermes!! As I said he's one of my favorite gods and I think I like him more now. I want to know his motives to say so but... Loved this plot twist. (hide spoiler)]

yes, that was unexpected. especially since the death in the prologue.

BTW I Live for Miles and Van. When they're alone talking and Lore is spying I just wanted them to have some... Near interaction.
I swear if Miles dies, I'll burn the killer alive.

I finished the book yesterday (yay! xD).
I really liked it, and some moments were like "WOW OMG WTF" I'll put them on spoiler because there are some major spoilers.

1st- Athena's treason. OMGodess (jeh). I was starting to get suspicious when Arthemis said that was Athena the first one to betray her. But not only that, also that she was the killer of her whole family and how she manipulated Lore (and Kadmou). I still liked her though.
2nd- When Castor was immortal O3O
3rd- That Gil was Hermes. As I said, he's my favorite god, and I was so happy that he ended up being good (moreorless).
4th- When Miles goes directly to Van and KISSES HIM. KYAAAAA It was so lovely, I'm still loving these two <3<3

And one extra theory: that Miles is the son of Hermes. Gil/Hermes let him stay home with hm and Lore, and he only mentions her mother, nothing about her father. Is this weird? Haha Me and my book theories.

I was shocked about 1st too, did not expect it.. also 3rd shocked me too. Since we saw the death in the prologue I didn't think more of it.
Miles and Van were amazing, I'm just disappointed we didn't get more of them and the development of their relationship..

Since we didn't have much development who knows maybe your theory can be true xD
