Also, currently reading Princess Holy Aura which features Lovecraftian monsters.

I'm less certain Princess Holy Aura would be classified as Weird. It may be just straight urban fantasy. But I am willing to put it in the poll, too, and see what happens. Unless someone else knows more about the book and can say more definitively it should not be considered Weird Fiction?
Thank you for the nominations.

Thom Brannan says it's really good [obviously, FWIW]

House of Cthulhu, Act I: The Horror in Clay looks like a fine choice too. I like to limit nominations to two per nominator and I have three now from you. Can you pick the two you want most to recommend? (I take the first two otherwise.) The good news is you can change your mind on which two you want to nominate all the way up through February 28. So you're not locked in.

On the Goodreads list of weird fiction (https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...) I just noticed VanderMeer's novel in the #1 slot. It even just moved into the #1 slot on the list of new weird books I originally created a few years back: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...

OK, If I have to choose two, I think I will nominate the Annihilation and this House of Ctulhu one - because Princess Holy Aura might or might not really fit in here. It's weird all right (and maybe some other time) but perhaps not quite in the Weird Fiction way, necessarily (I only listened to the first 10% of the book yet). Now, I know for sure Annihilation is a GREAT book, and I know nothing of the other one and would love to try. so these two shall be my nominations.
Thank you for directing the process so well, Dan.
