The first book in a fantastic series!!!

I understand this isn't the typical 'detective novel' because it's about a real investigation by a real FBI agent... if you disqualify it I'll understand.

I'm going to have to say no. I don't think it quite fits. If it's any consolation, I also disqualified the one I wanted to nominate. lol

I was worried it wouldnt count as a detective story even tho its a mystery. Such a good book though :)

I have to say that The Curious Incident doesn't work because there is not a detective in the story.

Naked in Death fits, however I was under the impression that it is a "sexy" book. Goodreads doesn't allow any erotica as monthly reads for all ages clubs, so I would love it if someone could confirm for me whether the book has graphic sex scenes or not. If there is just tension and off-the-page scenes that is fine. Anyone?

Either would work as long as it is a detective who is investigating something and not an FBI person or private citizen snooping, etc. An ex-detective who is brought back for a case or is investigating something would be acceptable.

Yes. As long as there is a detective in it and they are investigating something, the time period doesn't matter.

I read this in December and there are definitely graphic scenes. In addition, the storyline includes prostitution, rape, incest and pedophilia. This is not a book for all audiences.

I'm having trouble with the links today too. I'm also having difficulty searching for books. A lot of them aren't coming up. Hopefully, Goodreads is working on it.
