Yayy I didn’t know it’ll be our BOTM, I’m currently reading it and I’m halfway through it.

I liked this one but I honestly have no reason to. It's a skim read for me.

I feel like this one is way overhyped, but it's fine

I only loved Maxon and America's sister...

this was an enjoyable series to read and quite entertaining too, but i dont think ill ever reread this series. maybe the last two books since i liked those the most..

I didnt like the last 2 either. Eadlyn was so annoying!

OK so I loOooOoooooed the Selection and I still need to get to the lats couple ☺️

I originally rated this five stars. I know that it’s very tropey and stereotypical but I loved it because it was so entertaining.

I read this back in November and I loved Maxon but I totally thought that America was super annoying.

WOW. I just finished “The One” two days ago for the first time!! I LOVED this series so much but I’ve heard really bad things about the last two. I read the first 4 chapters in the 4th book and I didn’t think I would like it so I’m not going to ruin this series for myself! Also, I had a cool idea...for anyone who likes to “shift” that would be a cool place to go!!

I finished the Selection yesterday and now I’m beginning the Elite. I loooveed this book and am so exited for the next one!! Ksxofmnrosowf

The Selection is my comfort read. It's so entertaining, even though it's not really high-quality reading.

I remember reading the last three books of this series in a single sitting for like 12 hours- lots of fun :)

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was cute. I still need to read the rest of the series.

Although with some of the characters that I start to like, they do something that just makes me so exasperated and I go back to disliking them. Then it repeats to I start liking them again...aaaah


Anyways, it was a great book!

I know exactly what you mean! And especially in the 2nd book, The Elite, oh my goodness some people in there just...argh!

Same. The first one was really good and I get what you mean with the characters.

America was great in the first book but the constant Maxon-or-Aspen thing in the second book was grating.

I'm reading the second book right now and the back and forth between the two guys is starting to irritate me. She needs to just choose Maxon already

I read this series a few years ago, and loved it! I would beg my mom to drive me to the library to go get the next one. I encouraged a friend of mine last year to read this, and she fell in love with it. We would run to the school library in between classes to pick up the next book for her. Another friend of mine read It as well and we would spend so long talking about who’s better Maxon or Aspen. I truly LOVED the selection series.

YES I HATED ASPEN WITH MY WHOLE HEART which is strange bc he wasn’t even a villain or smth BUUT in the end of The One I actually didn’t hated him that much, I was just like “meh, do whatever u want, if u want marry someone else or if u prefer to die, fine, I won’t cry”.

And despite how much I loooveeed Maxon and America, THEY WERE PLAYING ON MY NERVES AND WERE MAKING ME CRAZY ALL. THE. TIME. They’re cute but also they’re both idiots.

I kind of liked this book, but it wasn’t that great from a critical point of view. I was able to fly through it, it was a fun read. (and I read it after crooked Kingdom so it was quite lighthearted in comparison)

I looove the Selection, I read it a while ago and it really is a comfort book, I reread the series every time I’m in a slump, they are so quick they always cure it
