When the weather starts turning warm, I think of summer vacations from school and reading. I find myself looking to Fantasy and Science fiction works to read, for example I remember vividly reading The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury and C.S. Lewis' The Space Trilogy during the summer, thinking it was the perfect time to read them.

Do you have certain books or authors that you love to read in the summer?

In the past I've found myself reaching for lighter things: Elin Hilderbrand is one of my favorite summer authors.
I also find myself reading less during the summer.

I like to read easy light books from authors I already know. This year I started with the few Ilona Andrews books I haven't read yet, Sapphire Flames and Emerald Blaze.
