These Topplers are the only time when my insomnia doesn't bother me :)

I just reported two books I finished this morning. I'll read Witch Is Why Time Stood Still next while my daughter and her family are out playing in the snow. (Silly people :)

I'm in the eastern US time zone.

We just got home from my sister-in-law's house. This weekend has been so full that I'm only 70-some pages into my first book. But we're supposed to have a winter storm come through, so I'm going to spend tomorrow drinking hot cocoa and reading.

Finished If Only I Could Tell You. It was really good! I'm about to stick some pizza rolls in the oven and start Happy & You Know It.

I thought I wouldn’t get much reading done today because we went to the Daytona 500 ( nascar race.) Well there was a FIVE HOUR weather delay so I got in lots of reading.

I've finished and reported Witch Is Why Time Stood Still.

Lynn, I'm ready to start the last book that has been slotted for me. It doesn't look to be an important linking book. Can I read any book that has "who" in the title (#23 on the spreadsheet)?

It’s a holiday here and we are staying in our jammies today which is good for reading. Our driving trip to Tennessee is postponed because the Southern U.S. is getting hit by ice storms ( very unusual.)

My audiobook puts me to sleep so I’m switching to the kindle version and hopefully will finish that today.

Sorry Lanelle, had a bit of a family emergency and was away from the computer most of the day.

What did you decide to go with in the end?

We're getting the same storm up north, just snow instead of ice. Nice for reading, but my son still has to drive home from work in it. Stay safe, Marnie!

Lynn, I'd like to add Girl A somewhere between books 19 and 22 and Atomic Love between books 12 and 13 on the spreadsheet if that's ok. The storm means I've had a lot of things rescheduled for next week, so I'm going to have more free time than I thought!

I was thinking about adding to the top of the chain with Once Upon a Summer. It seems like 'Once' and 'Upon" would be somewhat easy to build with. I'll let you know if I decide to read it. I certainly have plenty of words to work with in the chain.

I was in the office all day yesterday so no reading for me. Working from home today and will start my second book this afternoon.

Would The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek fit at the end of the chain? I got stuck for hours without a book last night and ended up getting almost halfway through it on my phone.

I finished and reported The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared

About 40% done with the last book I’ve committed to which I’ll finish today. I will start gophering for another book to link in somewhere.

I started reading As You Are last night. It will fit in with all the 'You' books. It's short. I'll finish it today.

You bet. I'm looking through what books I have available. I'll probably go with a fluffy book that will balance out the rather serious When You Reach Me. I'll work with the key words that are in the chain.

I have taken the day off work. It just seemed too hard today, and I have been thinking for the past week or so that I am at the edge of getting sick from being run down.

Off to make a good dent in my second read instead.

I made it to the Nashville ( Tennessee) area today... we had a small window in between storms and got to my daughter’s just before the snow started. It was a ten and a half hour drive so a long day so tomorrow will be a cozy up with a Book day.

Finished The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry: Love, Laughter, and Tears at the World's Most Famous Cooking School and will finish my last committed book tomorrow. Hoping I can squeeze one more book in but am too tired to gopher tonight.

Yup but I haven't reported yet. I literally finished when I posted, and have been cooking since. Once I can get to my desktop which currently has a Lexx with a headtorch and a drill assembling his new desk stopping me accessing it, I'll report.

Heh very random situation here, i completely understand the confusion

Somehow our modem has broken too, so now having to log on to Lexx's work computer to see our spreadsheet. This is getting very convoluted...

So!! After pouring through the spreadsheet and getting a second opinion that I wasn't going crazy (and 5 mins of explaining the challenge and "NO! Love is the word, I have to match that! ... I know loving is a derivative, but that's not the point!!" etc)

We've never lost power, thank goodness. Life would be much harder if we had. A plumber is supposed to come back today and cap the broken water pipe. Then we'll turn the water back on. *keeping fingers crossed*
