When children go missing, people want answers. When children go missing in the small coastal town of Astoria, people look to Wendy for answers.

It's been five years since Wendy and her two brothers went missing in the woods, but when the town’s children start to disappear, the questions surrounding her brothers’ mysterious circumstances are brought back into light. Attempting to flee her past, Wendy almost runs over an unconscious boy lying in the middle of the road, and gets pulled into the mystery haunting the town.

Peter, a boy she thought lived only in her stories, claims that if they don't do something, the missing children will meet the same fate as her brothers. In order to find them and rescue the missing kids, Wendy must confront what's waiting for her in the woods.

I think I got up to season 5. I did enjoy it a lot, but Rumpelstiltskin was getting on my nerves.

Ch. 10 (view spoiler)[ This so far is kinda weird and I can't quite figure out where it's headed. The Peter Pan aspect is a little weird and I wonder why Wendy doesn't ask her mom more since she seems to know a lot? Also really hoping there isn't some grand plan behind it all and Wendy's like in a coma or something crazy like that. Honestly I'm still in shock she just ran right into the woods after Alex. Ch 14 (view spoiler)[Really getting bored at this point. Nothing of significance is happening aside from another kid going missing. There's also just this air of foreboding with no end in sight so I'm not sure how I'm suppose to feel, it's certainly dragging for me (hide spoiler)]
Ch 16 (view spoiler)[Now I’m just getting mad. If Peter found Wendy and her brothers at the tree he obviously knew about it and said nothing. Now the shadow tells her she’ll never see her brothers again and mentions Peter not telling her something but does she question him, of course not!..?!
If it wasn’t for her friend and the adults seeing Peter I’d really question if he was real at all or just some delusion of hers lol. But then she’d be behind the disappearances and I’m not sure why. Still waiting for answers instead of having more questions. (hide spoiler)]
Ch 18 (view spoiler)[I don’t understand this blind faith she has in Peter. Is he like absorbing these kids or using them to add to his power? Or is she dead and this is all made up. Ughhhhhave no idea what’s going on and hoenstly just ready to be done. (hide spoiler)]
Done (view spoiler)[Ok well that’s pretty disappointing and depressing. She wasn’t dead but her brothers were. Shocked it was the neighbor a bit, no wonder he always gave her ‘looks.’ Honestly this was just not that great and the end was pretty depressing. Peter was more a reaper for kids than anything else. Chapter 1 – 6 : (view spoiler)[I can’t believe I’ve never read any Peter Pan stories before because I am already liking this so much more than all the other retelling books I’ve read recently. The storyline, the characters and the whole writing style in general is so much more upto my alley and I am hating myself a bit rn for putting this off until now (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7 – 11 : (view spoiler)[Peter’s shadow is lost? Is that even possible lol. But I guess then anything is possible in a fantasy world. One of my favourite things about this book is how the real world is interloped with Neverland and Jordan is definitely the best friend everyone needs in their life, she doesn’t doubt Wendy for a second and is there for her all the time (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 12 – 14 : (view spoiler)[So Peter Pan’s shadow itself is the villain of the book? I am having a tough time believing in these two opposite shades of the same person, how is a shadow a different entity than the person himself ugh. The plot is interesting for sure just a bit on the unbelievable side for someone as skeptical as me (hide spoiler)]
