Did I miss the sign up?

No. I haven't posted the signup thread yet b/c I can't settle on a start date. GR has had a problem with spammers, so they've put a limit on the number of new posts created by mods (3 per hour). I'm randomly posting BSB threads as I have time and it's a bit slow going. I don't want to set the start date until I know I can have all the threads needed up and ready to go.

I wish TPTB could do something to verify mods who are real GR members and allow us to continue unhindered. But, I get that spammers are a headache that can be hard to stop.

I've posted the shelf announcement thread with all of this round's shelf links. I'm sure many of you may have already scoped out some shelves, based on what's shown on the bingo cards. You'll notice this round we're including some plurals, when in the past we didn't. For instance: 'Wounded Warrior -OR- Wounded Warriors' are both acceptable shelves for this round, using the links included. We've once again included links to SOS shelves, as applicable, so please feel free to use those. All linked shelves are acceptable throughout this round.

As always, if you have any questions - now or throughout the game - this is the place to ask them. We're happy to help!

I wanna help, but I'm not sure I understand what you're trying, Victoria. Are you referring to "my books" view or something else?

I want to go to a bookshelf for example Spin Off books (https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...?) and I want to sort or only view the books that I have marked as want to read (cause I'm lazy and don't want to browse 25 pages :D :D)

@Victoria. When viewing Goodreads from your computer and looking at the lists... I’m pretty sure you used to be able to see book status... Read - Want to Read, etc. phone app and mobile version seems to have less features. Unless there was an update push that removed that capability.

On the Alternative Reader's Choice Options - You said Only 2 allowed per person, per round; 1 teammate per shelf. Meaning that if two folks don't like the shelf Aliens, only one can go with the alternate reader option?

Also are the below lists?

That's right. Each team member is only allowed to use an alternate shelf twice during the game and only one team member per shelf.

The 'highly anticipated release' alternative is not a list. Players may choose one of their highly anticipated books released during Oct-Dec 2020 - Jan-Mar 2021.

Has anyone seen the new Beta for the Main Book Page? It has no link for the See Top Shelves..... :-(

I figured out if you go to the See All Editions page and change the URL you can see the page.

If you consider Simon R Green's Secret Histories series UF, then that might fit what you're looking for. I don't recall shifters or vampires in those books.

Ghosts, demons, witches, fairies, gods, general magic, something new and interesting. Actually I don't mind shifters and vampires as long as they aren't the MC/main theme. I should put angels on the no-go list too.

Kalayna Price's Alex Craft series has its main focus on witch craft, but there are also fae and other such creatures popping up now and again, though they are not the important factors. There is some romance though..
First book: Grave Witch


Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid Chronicles are good fun. Romance is a side notion and while there are vampires and shifters, they are not main characters. Druids, humans, witches and gods are for the most part. And the series gets better with every book.

Thank you E. Iron Druid is a series I like but always seem to forget about. Alex Craft is one I have but haven't started yet. Perhaps I'll see if they are good for my Free Space. :D

Kevin Hearne started a sort of spin-off of the Iron Druid Chronicles, so totally worth continuing with ;-)
