As the title predicts, kimberleybear spent a lot of time saying, "Oh my god WHAT" while listening to You'll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey by Amber Ruffin and Lacey Lamar. The sisters are charming and hilarious narrators, but the book is not funny, "because of course it's just repeated incidents of racism, from tiny to egregious" (Cannonball Read 13)

Raven Black (blackraven6913) | 198 comments When I read a comedian's works, usually it is a "counter book" (those gems you see at the checkout counters) or a book meant to be funny (even some biographies can be considered funny). Therefore I would have to say Between the Bridge and the River by Craig Ferguson. However, even that was not totally serious.
