Yes.. Mal and Alina get better in the second half

Have all of you read the whole book? I've been busy the last 2 days so I'm a bit after🤣

Haha, I have not. I’m doing multiple buddy reads at the moment so I’ve just been doing the minimum for them every day!

I was just enjoying the book so much that I already finished it and I started reading book 2!

Oh! I've also finished the first book but haven't started the second one yet. I think I'll start it with everyone else.

Is this for all three of the books, or only the first one?

We are currently reading the first one! But we'll continue after that

We're supposed to finish it tomorrow but we could wait for you to catch up before going on to the next book

I have read the first, so I am ready for the next one😇

Then I think, I'm also going to start the book 2 today...

I have already started it, because I have to much free time thanks to covid and I'm on winterbreak from school. But just make sure to read at your own pace, we can discuss it once everybody is done :)

I started the book too.. finished 3 chapters.. the pace is great so far and the Darkling!!!😡😍

I've also started the book two and so far have finished 2 chapters.....yes...the Darkling is back...lol.

Yeah.. It's a short one with Genya's POV.. Talking about one scene really and some of her background..

There is one place in Siege and Storm that ties to the Novella.. I didn’t need to grow attached to any of them. I’d learned my lesson with Genya, and one shattered friendship was enough...

I feel really sad reading about Genya and Alina

I love stormhund, but especially later on in the book!

I just finished book 2 and I liked it less thank book 1 althought I really enjoyed the beginning of book 2. What are your opinions on Mal?

I've only read ch. 1-3 but so far I really like Mal:)

I finished chapter 9 - (view spoiler)[OMG Sturmhond 😝 that scene after the fold was too much, I laughed so much! I knew about Nikolai, but I didn't expect this for sure.. I like Alina more in this book though, she is stronger and ready for challenges, she is not scared of her power and acquiring more of it... (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Mal is like meh! I don't know how his character will be in future chapters but right now I was a little annoyed when he was stopping Alina and is skeptical about every move she makes.. but he is also caring towards her.. so I am a little confused about him (hide spoiler)]

Right Sehrish...Mal definitely cares a lot for Alina but he is a little bit too over protective....And still there is literally no development of their chemistry. I think it would be much more than better if they stay best friends like always...because they don't seem to be a perfect couple to me.

Totally agree with Mal but especially near the end he just gets so annoying and demanding things from Alina that she can't give him because of her new position

Sehrish o yes! The scene after the fold was great, I love Nikolai so much, he is such a fun character! I'm happy that he will probably survive cause there is king of scars :)

I'm not sure about Alina, I get her new personality but I find it harder to relate and she is a little bit reckless which I don't really like but I do get it

In this book, Alina's character has developed a lot. She has become much more responsible and braver than before but still sometimes she does act stupid and reckless...Mal has become annoying...ufff

O I like Nikolai so much and he has a great influence on Alina!

I loved Nickolai....

I've finished the book....it was good but I liked the first one better.....Though I loved some new characters who were introduced in this book.

I agree, no chemistry whatsoever! They are great as friends, understand each other and all but they should just be that!

You don't ask! what's not to like?? He is smart, handsome, funny, demanding, witty.... I absolutely adore him❤️

Whatever she did aside, I really love Genya.. I wish Alina's had a more powerful presence like Genya..

I agree, the middle chapters are very boring really.. not much is happening, I am at Chapter 13 now
