written description: willow is a gentle beauty. as a maid, she's not allowed to do much to enhance her appearance, but her natural beauty still shines through. willow stands at about five foot six, and her body is naturally slim, with some lean muscle due to the effort of lifting and moving things in the storage areas of the palace and moving around so quickly. willow has long, silky light brown hair that many people envy. she also has striking hazel eyes that catch many people's attention, and there's always a curious sparkle in her eyes. willow also has very full, naturally rosebud-pink lips that are almost always tilted up into a smile. she is very much a proper lady, and she always has great posture, and is always on her toes. willow is most often seen in her maid uniform; however, when she has spare time, she does like to dress in simple, floral dresses, most commonly made of chiffon, cotton voile, or organza, as the maids get to create their own dresses from leftover fabrics for the royal family.
personality: willow has a naturally kind disposition, and treats everybody fairly, whether they deserve it or not. willow is always very sweet, and she is really quite shy at first. but once you get to know her, you might be surprised at her witty and slightly self-deprecating sense of humor and sarcasm. willow has a big heart, and she always wants to help anyone or anything in need. she believes that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness. after all, your enemy could turn out to be your best friend someday.

history: willow was dropped off at the maid's entrance of the palace as a baby. none of the maids knew where she had come from, only that she needed to be taken care of. a few of the maids were on maternity leave at the time, and had no problem nursing the sweet little baby and caring for her. they chose to name her willow, as she had been placed beneath a willow tree when they found her. her middle name, grace, serves as a reminder for her to be gracious to people, and her last name, emerson, was suggested by one of the guards, who chose to give his first name to this child so she could have a last name. the palace staff all raised willow together, ensuring that it was alright with the king and queen. they obliged, of course, and promised that she would have a good life at the palace, and ensured that she could become a maid when she was of age, if she so chose.
and so little willow soon grew up, budding into a beautiful young girl. she never did find her birth parents, but she didn't much care. after all, she had her family of maids and guards, and that was all that mattered. she became a maid when she turned thirteen, and was soon deemed fit enough to serve directly to guests.
when willow was nineteen, it was announced that there would be another selection. willow had grown up hearing the story of america and maxon's selection, how they had fallen so deeply in love, and she wished desperately to have even a small taste of that. it was hard to be a six and fall in love; she decided to at least apply for the selection, to see if she got in...
and she did.

Written Description: Aurora is gorgeous, and she knows it. She’s been a model since she was 12. She used to be a dancer, so she’s fit and lean. Standing at just 5’2, she’s short for a model. Aurora has long dirty blonde hair that she normally wears down. Her eyes are a startling blue, full of mischief. She’s always smirking, in an “I know something you don’t” way.Aurora walks with an air of dignity and confidence, shoulders back and chin held high. She doesn't have an aesthetic, she dresses how she likes.
Personality: Aurora first language is sarcasm. She comes off as very snotty, but really she’s just confident. She holds herself to a very high standard. Aurora has big plans and will stop at nothing to achieve them.
