Hey everyone! I'm going to be putting out 1-2 polls today on BOTM (how everyone wants to do it) and maybe our first challenge.

If anyone does not like being invited to polls, let me know. I will also post the links in the Announcements thread.
Also, if anyone has any ideas for challenges, send me a message or post in the suggestion thread! :)

Also, here are some of my ideas for the group. Let me know what you all think!
(I probably won't use all of these, and definitely not right away. I just want to see where interest lies and all)

- Trivia section
- Craft Challenges (bookish craft challenges like book sleeves or bookmarks)
- Bookish fan art section
- Bookish activities every now and then that tie into the BOTM (like book poster or scrabble message creation , quiz challenge, etc.)
- Challenges awards (for each challenge you win/complete, you can win a "cozy badge" to add to your virtual collection

I like trivia
fanart
bookish activities
idk HOW you would do the challenge but it sound cool too

OK cool! What does everyone else think about those ideas?

I'm currently planning out our first challenge, which will be the March Team Readathon. The readathon will allow any books to be read, but will follow a theme for prompts with extra points :) The theme will be revealed later!

haha yeah it does a bit. I've just had a weird start to the day.

I was finally let back into school and the library, and I haven't been there in a year so I'm doing as much reading as I can. I just grabbed the wrong book lol

Ok everyone I just put out a poll for what type of challenge we want to do for April. I would love some suggestions/ideas of what everyone wants.

Also I might be opening moderator applications soon, I would love some help since I'm not on as often as I would like to be :(
If you think you might like to apply, you can post something saying like "I might want to apply" here so that I can see how much interest there is in becoming a mod before I release the application.

Oh yeah! Also if anyone who votes for something relating to prompts/theme, I would love ideas of what you would like to see!

(like how this month was Drama Club, with prompts relating to theater and broadway musicals; we could do things like fantasy world, movies, Disney, spring, etc.)

in class rn, right. i have a best friend. she's amazing. really nice, and cool. but she refuses to do her work. no matter what i say. she's trying to get into high school along with me, and while i do my work in time and correctly, she just sits there and cheats. what should i do? because i really care for her. i do, and we're both trying to get into high school together. but she wont listen. what to do?

Well, all you can do is give her your best well-meaning advice. Make sure to tell her that you're not just criticizing her for the sake of it but that you're worried for her. But ultimately, it's her decision and if she won't listen, then that's that. You can't help a person that doesn't want to be helped.

You can also try to consult adults around you, if you think they're good to talk to. Her parents, for example, if they're nice.
