This thread is to discuss The Mists of Avalon, the first book in the Avalon Series by Marion Zimmer Bradley.

I found this copy on my mom's bookshelf a couple of years ago and she let me have it, but I never got around to reading it. I am excited to finally start it this month! :)

This beast has been on my bookshelf for awhile and I've been procrastinating on it because, well, it's a beast. And also because it's not really in my wheelhouse, but came highly HIGHLY recommended to me......So I'll join you guys on this (my first Buddy Read EVER!) because I think I can use the support!

I started yesterday, and I must say that it is a lot easier to read than I had expected! I know very little of the King Arthur stories, so everything is a surprise :)

Haven’t been able to read much lately but hoping that’ll change this weekend since I have zero plans. Just got this out from the library last week so I’ll be ready to go :)

I haven't had much time or motivation to read lately, but I am now about halfway through this book. I am enjoying the story, and love how we get the point of view of different women on it. All those men's names that start with a G are a bit confusing though!

How is it going for you both?
