Horses are the best!!! <3
We were talking somewhere about Nancy Drew. I went to a huge second hand book barn that I remembered having vintage Nancy Drew and I was planning to do a major haul. ALL GONE! The whole shelf that had them was bare. THAT JUST STINKS!! But I got a couple other books so it wasn't all a wasted trip.

Nancy Drew must be very popular where you are. :) Can I ask what books you got? :)

Of course you can!
I got The Brain That Changes Itself: Stories of Personal Triumph from the Frontiers of Brain Science by Norman Doidge I borrowed it from the library and it's killing me that I can't highlight certain passages, NOW I CAN!
I also picked up Keep Your Brain Young: The Complete Guide to Physical and Emotional Health and Longevity by Guy McKhann and Love, Medicine & Miracles by Bernie S. Siegel. I have always been a medical nerd but since my set back as a patient and a provider, I'm on a kick.
The other book is more my style, a novel. Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace ... One School at a Time by Greg Mortenson

There was so much I wanted to look at and go through but I saw a rocker chair and I was so exhausted. Napping while surrounded by books was fun too.

I love how you said that "napping while surrounded by books was fun too." Sounds like it was a great nap, good for you!

It was a really comfortable rocking chair. I'm on the shorter side and this was an old rocker that had the seat lower to the ground and the back was taller and supported my head nicely. I wish I could have taken it home with me. The creaking just added to the atmosphere.

LESS THAN 1 WEEK! I am heading to Missouri finally!! I left my girls in December with the intentions of returning in February. It is now almost May and I'm finally going back.
