Anyone else shook over the Shadow and Bone Netflix trailer? It looks so incredible. I am SO EXCITED for the show to air!!

YES!! Freddy is such a good Kaz already! In fact, I already love the whole cast, they are all so sweet and talented. Plus Ben Barnes as the Darkling is everything I could ever want!

Yes, I saw the video too!! Can't wait to see Ben Barnes as the Darkling but also Amita Suman is going to be perfect for the role of Inej!! 😀

ok... do y'all think we might get a second trailer with nina and mathias???? because IN THAT VIDEO.... THEY NAMED THE TRAILER AS A 'TEASER'....WHICH MEANS..... in march or maybe april we might get yet another trailer....

yeah, most likely!!!! especially because the actors have mentioned at the IGN Fan Fest that the crows story will have stuff that aren't exactly in the books, so it will be prequel stories... the one who we'll most likely not hear about is wylan :( but hey i guess you can't have everything, im happy with all we get

Do you think we'll see a lot of Matthias in his Drüskelle days and if they'll include Trassel(his wolf)?

Also that they include them in trailer for long long time. Also they have Wylan in part two.

I finished the show first and finished the book today, I think the show did a better job on character development, Alina was so vague in the book about being an outsider but in the show it truly shows.

I finally checked my email and got the RSVP email for the meet and greet on Saturday!!!

aHAHAH thats amazing! i agree tho, i totally loved how they created a story of what the crows were probably doing at that time. i thought they were going to try to tell both series at the same time, which wouldve been odd cuz they happened years after each other XD

but oml when kaz first showed up i was screaming at my tv idk everything made me so excited XD

The show is actually really good and I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would (I was meh on the books)! They stayed faithful to the source and I'm looking forward to watching more.

I love how Alina looks in the show.

Show Alina is better than the Books Alina. tbh, the show is better than the books. I heard a lot of other readers were complaining why they introduced the crows early on but in my opinion, if they added the crows in later seasons it would be out of place.

i feel the reason show was successful (apart from the awesome casting etc) was because the crows were added. The fandom of the six of crows Duology is HUGE to say at the least....so i felt it was a very smart move considering the show's success.

i agree with everybody here! i think the show did a much better job in terms of Alina and also Malina (which I absolutely despised in the book). i also really loved Ben Barnes' portrayal of The Darkling.

something i was really upset about though was the fact that Amita's (the actress who plays Inej) stunt double was white and they painted her brown for the stunt scenes. 😕

but i def agree with the whole MALINA ship bc in the book I HATED but HATED Mal but in the show all u want to do is love the dude lol.

I cant wait for season 2 BC UMM NIKOLAI duhhh.

same!!! i hated Malina in the books. and i'm so excited to see Nikolai and Wylan in the show asdfghjjhgfd

I'm freaking out about Ben Barnes being The Darkling! I'm literally squealing.
I have never wanted to get Netflix so bad until i heard about this show, and I'm getting mad at myself cause I chose Disney+ over it.
