Kate S | 6459 comments Spring is a time to start something new. Read the first book in a new series, or use this season to continue a series you have previously started.

Please post any questions about task 20.9 in this thread.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14232 comments I learned of this task about 5 minutes before all of you. I'm going to have to revise my plans for the season and abandon a second attempt at Fabulous Firsts. Can't pass up this opportunity to read more of Lanny Budd.

Valerie Brown | 3270 comments I know!! - I could spend the whole season just reading for this task.

Interesting find! Yes!

Beth Robinson (bethrobinson) | 1174 comments Is this in a series by the definition of this task? It has the link and the series page but is not numbered and they are all by different authors, so I wanted to double check.

Report from Planet Midnight

If it is, then I also need an adjustment for my 10.5 Mothers task, as that is in the same series.

Yes, and we will allow this because it appears now (today) as a series. Please make a note when you post because I'm not positive this is a series by GR standards and may be removed in future.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14232 comments And just to follow-up on Beth's question. I've heard from staff that this will continue to be a series on GR.

Katy | 1216 comments I'm reading The Craftsman which is listed as book 1 of the series - book 2 is set to come out this year, and there's a 0.5 book as well. It looks like she intends to continue the series, though I can't find any official confirmation of it. Would this count for this task?

Yes, and please remind me when you post. ;-)

Beth Robinson (bethrobinson) | 1174 comments As a side note, the staff changed apparently changed their minds and the PM Outspoken authors series is no longer marked as such...

I'll look into it. Librarians can delete series and it may not have been staff. In any case, the titles you have already read are marked for that series. If there were others you had planned let me know. I think the "series deleted" might be on the librarian edit page for verification.

Beth Robinson (bethrobinson) | 1174 comments Ok. I had been wanting to get into these and bought a storybundle with a bunch some time ago so I was intending more, although not fully sure which until I read them

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14232 comments You can find the restored series here. The PM website shows 3 bundles which I did not add.

I saw you were taking advantage of this task and it made me smile.

ok...that's what I thought. I think I remember that for this club there must be at least three to be considered a series. Is that right?

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14232 comments Correct. Minimum three or an indication there will be at least 3.
