Question though, when there's no info about the authors, should the Italian/Spanish variants of Various be kept or moved to Various? (Not only this one but there's also the properly punctuated AA. VV. and the full forms Autori Vari / Autores Varios).
If Various is to be used, what happens when the actual AA. VV. is on the cover (like in this example: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...), should it be listed as a secondary author?.

Moved to Various, even if the cover has a synonym (in whatever language) for it. Various (or Multiple Authors, or AA. VV.) is not an author name or a pen-name. It's simply an indication of multiple unnamed contributors.
Of course, we prefer to list as many actual authors as possible instead. But when none are known, we use Various.

Needs sorting out. Many books have authors that are not listed.
