How did you like the characters? The plot? The style? The portrayal of characters and their surroundings?

It took me a while to get into this novel, but once the various characters started to connect for me, I enjoyed it very much. There are layers of stories within the book with some interesting commentary contained within on society and politics. Definitely worth the read.
