Kate S | 6459 comments In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, I thought I’d combine two of my favorite things: word games and potent potables. Use the letters from the title, subtitle, and author’s published name to spell one of the following words: whiskey, bourbon, cabernet, absinthe, vodka, Baileys, Kahlua, merlot, riesling, lambic, amaretto, chardonnay, sauvignon, or shiraz.

Example: Who are You , Calvin Bledsoe? by Brock Clarke= “bourbon”

Post which beverage you’re “spelling” when claiming this task.

Letters must be used as often as needed for the target word. For example, Amaretto must match a title/subtitle/author name with at least 2 A's, 1 M, 1 R, 1 E, 2 T's and 1 O.

Please use this thread to discuss task 10.9.

I know, I know...I was going to add some shorter words (beer and ale among them), but didn’t want it to be TOO easy. I’m a sucker for a challenge, thus the longer words with some lesser-used letters. I did use the spelling of “whiskey” which is the appropriate one for Ireland (and the US) if that redeems me at all ;-)
