Started reading August Snow (August Snow #1) by Stephen Mack Jones August Snow in anticipation of Stephen Mack Jones's meeting (virtual) with my library book discussion on Tuesday. My second read of this one. Am enjoying it at least as much as the first time.

If someone wants to join my library's book discussion - just let me know. I'll get you in.

Julie M (woolyjooly) | 314 comments Finished "Olive, Again" for the 2nd time and loved it twice as much! Elizabeth Strout is a master of character writing. Also read "Future Home of the Living God" by Louise Erdrich. Not my favorite of hers by far, but compelling nonetheless. Erdrich is another of my top 5 authors of all time. As I reflect now, I'd have to say 4 women are in my top five: Barbara Kingsolver, Strout, Erdrich, and Toni Morrison (in no particular order). Hmm . .

Did you like Peace Like a River? It's literally sitting on my shelf right in front of me and I STILL haven't read it.

OH, YES! My review started with the fact that a friend of mine has been after me for years to read this. I should have listened to her.

Benita | 43 comments I am listening to Summer of '69 by Elin Hilderbrand because I just finished reading Barefoot by the same author. I switched over to a mystery and am now reading Falling in Love by Donna Leon.

I just finished listening to The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi and I loved it. If you listen to recorded books try this one, the narrator is very good and instantly has the ability to transport you into that the world of Jaipur, India in 1955. This title is going to make my Best of the Year list. It certainly is going to be one of the best works of historical fiction that I have read so far this year.
