I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.

Hello team! Anyone want to be team leader and keep track? I’d rather not if someone else would do it. Also we need a name and although I’m friends with everyone I’m not sure if you are with each other. Just to recap, I’m Teresa! I live in southern Alberta, Canada, I have a husband, two kids, and 4 cats. I don’t work so read a lot. I’m looking forward to this game!
Hi everyone! It's my first time playing this game, but I'm happy to be team leader if no one else wants to. My timezone is GMT so I might be snoring when you guys are around lol, but I'm sure we'll make it work.I'm not particularly picky about genres as long as it's m/m, but I do love historicals and fantasy (but this seems to be the year of paranormal for me). I would really appreciate it if we could stay away from bdsm/menage/erotica for the shared tasks, though. I'm really looking forward to getting started. :)

I adore fantasy/adventure/sci-fi/paranormal but read contemporary too (though its my least favourite). A happy ending, no incest, and no cheating are my only requirements. My pet peeve trope is the big misunderstanding - I like communication in my couples.

I’m new to GR (joined last December) and joined RRRC just for this Challenge. I heard about it from a post on the team thread for the M/M Team Spell Challenge, and Teresa (who is my teammate there as well) was kind enough to invite me to join this team. :)
I started reading M/M last year. It began with slowly working my way through K.J. Charles’ books, but when COVID hit, happy endings seemed like a good idea and by mid-summer I was reading M/M romance almost exclusively. I’ve backtracked and added my 2020 reading to GR, so if anyone has to choose something from my books, there should be plenty of options.
I like HEAs (or at least a HFN), some science fiction and fantasy (particularly paranormal), and mysteries. I’ve been reading more contemporary romance than anything else, but I like historical fiction as well. I’m pretty flexible, really, and can handle anything for one or two books. I am delighted that rereads count, because I am a frequent re-reader and re-listener.
That said, I don’t like books with incest as a theme and I’m not a big fan of cheating. No real triggers.

So, I'm pretty easy with choices, especially if the book is available on KU. I don't care for Josh Lanyon very much but am willing to give them another try if that's what is chosen. For series, What about https://www.goodreads.com/series/3006... ? There's a lot of choice and all the stories I read in it so far are good. I am really enjoying the Magic Emporium books too.
I am okay with any name for the team. Also, both series listed sound good. I like the fact that they have multiple authors to pick from.

I've read books by all of these authors except Sam Burns, so I'm happy with any of them. Since Teresa doesn't care for Josh Lanyon, I say we eliminate her/him/them (no idea which) from the running.

Both the Magic Emporium and the Beyond the Realm series look good to me - I haven't read any of either.
27. Read a minimum of 750 pages in books published in any one year prior to 2018, team picks the year.
I see that you suggested 2017. That's fine by me, but I'd love to know why - there has got to be a reason, lol.

Sure, you can read whatever you want as long as it's fiction I think, just needs to be M/M for the tasks where we need to read the same author or series. :)

There’s no M/M author for 2021 yet, but there are several from 2020: Eli Easton, Amy Lane, Sarina Bowen, and T.J. Klune. I’d be fine with any of them.
I am ok with Sam Burns, I know I have a few books by that author in my TBR pile so it works out well for me.For #29 my vote goes to Law Enforcement, but will be okay with Athletes if that is what group wishes. I just have more Law Enforcement options to read.

To search for tags, go to the book page and where it says "Genres" on the right, you'll see "See top shelves" at the bottom underneath it. Click there and you'll see all the tags for that book. :)
