Play Book Tag discussion

It's year two (8th grade) for young Jordan Banks at Riverdale Academy Day School. Jordan hopes that this year is better....but he is concerned about his growing up and does he "smell like a boy?"

This story revolves about being included and diversty. Jordan's good from Drew has always been taught to work hard for what you want. But he see's privilege in a lot of the other students and wonders if his good friend Liam is one of those students. Jordan feels that it's his duty to keep his friend group together. Drew continues to feel the pressure and instead of talking he withdraws more into himself. Jordan does his best to help out....the key, communication.

The is the 2nd graphic novel written by Jerry Craft. New Kid was the first with the same characters. I think these series is wonderfully written and thought provoking.
