As we finish up (I hope,LOL) this month's book:

- have you learned anything new?
- would you recommend this book to anyone? Why or why not?
- any takeaways from the book that you will apply to your every day life?

Celinette | 8 comments Finished the book today! We certainly are aware of many of the nuggets shared in this book, but our pride and selfishness often keep us from executing what we know to be right. For anyone who would like an encouraging book, this is a good and easy read. A takeaway would probably be “will your words reflect the fact that each individual is “Gods masterpiece” (Eph 2:10), “chosen and dearly loved” (Col 3:12), and “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Ps 139:14)? Definitely something to personally meditate on.

Awesome Celie! So glad you finished it! And thank you for those scriptures.

Jaimie DellaVella | 4 comments This was a great book! I would absolutely recommend & will keep the book close by for a reminder. I enjoyed the end about wisdom and knowing when to hold our tongue. As Solomon said, “there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Ecclesiastes 3:17. There is a time
to speak, and a time to listen. I think the Bible says we are to listen twice as much as we speak! I am praying to be a better listener, and for more wisdom & understanding, for “The Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6. My favorite chapters are still 4&5, I think I took away the most lessons from them.
