This thread is where you can chat about all things PIFM, ask questions and once books have been read, review your selected reads. A complete free for all.

PLEASE NOTE:

PIFM is meant to be FUN and not to be taken seriously. I would appreciate it if all participants just chilled and not get worked up about voting, who votes, who doesn't, etc. Please bear in mind that some will just want to vote, many don't come on everyday and most of us have time constraints. I just want a relaxed approach to it all and for you all to just enjoy the process! I'd really appreciate your courtesy in this matter. Many thanks.

Vicki Willis Welcome Sheri, you did it just right.
And then this is the place where we talk about our book and anything else we want.

Dana (dkmckelvey) | 623 comments hello everyone!! seems quiet around here. I've missed this group so much, but I found it hard to manage Goodreads on my phone. Now I am back at work and ready to participate again :) I am going to add some April books in a bit, hopefully I can get a few votes

message 10: by Perri (new)

Perri | -43 comments I voted, but skipped adding books this month. Seems like hope on the horizon with sunny days and vaccines speeded up!

Vicki Willis Kirsten - I actually have a tie if you want to vote to break it.
The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult
Or
The Last Girl (The Dominion Trilogy, #1) by Joe Hart

Dana (dkmckelvey) | 623 comments Yes I love this group!

You’ll never guess what happened. I was off for a year on mat leave (standard in Canada) and I went back to work for less than 2 weeks and got covid. I can’t believe it, I really hope these vaccines hurry up. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone :(

Mandy (penn_y_lane) | 547 comments OMG I've just realised I've been gone for...........well I don't know how long actually, a year??? I seem to have lost the last year and I am sure some can relate but I am pretty sure I've not posted on PIFM since the Covid outbreak. Anyway I am hoping to join in again next month and get a list of books up, I am still reading loads, prob even more since the 1st lockdown.

I hope everyone is well and look forward to chatting books with you all again!

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments I just finished my April book, Kill the Messenger Kill the Messenger by Tami Hoag . I have enjoyed all of the books I've read by Tami Hoag.

Christine Hatfield (christinesbookshelves) | 5526 comments I finished 2 books in April and they were called What You Don't See by Tracy Clark and Standoff by Patricia Bradley

message 17: by Sue (new)

Sue | 131 comments I haven’t finished my April pick, I’m 2/3 of the way through. Really enjoying it and not wanted to rush it.

message 18: by Sue (new)

Sue | 131 comments So I finally finished my April read about Jackie Kennedy Onassis and I so enjoyed it. Although fiction it’s obviously based on fact, really well researched and I would recommend it to anyone interested in her or this period of history. The portraits the book draws are really well done.

Sorry I didn't get back to you Vicki Willis.

message 20: by Vicki Willis (new)

Vicki Willis That is ok. I haven't read either of them.
I have only read like 2 books in the last 2 months!
Soon, I will be able to start reading again!
