Beth White (betherly) | 225 comments So disclaimer alert: I am probably being really dumb here so apologies in advance!

There are a couple of books I am reading at the moment that I have already started so will be for page points early. Therefore in the spreadsheet do I add in the section for "How it fits" or "Guess" or leave those blank since I am only getting page points for those reads?

Felicia | 15003 comments Those ones you wouldn't even need to add to the SS. The SS is more for your team to keep all your guesses in one easy place so that you don't double guess the same thing. Because it's too much for me to keep track and also keep track of your double guesses and also keep track on if whoever guessed it the second time put a new guess. It's just too much. So if a team double guesses the same thing one will just count for page points really.

Beth White (betherly) | 225 comments Ok awesome! I guess I just add those ones to the review chat then. Thanks so much Felicia :)

I just made the review threads. Just make sure you post them as exampled in the first comment. :)

Caroline | 2102 comments I am reading How to Get a Job Secrets of a Hiring Manager by Alison Green which doesn't have a page count on Goodreads, and the book isn't available on Amazon. (It can only be bought from the author's website.) It's an ebook only, so there's no physical number of pages. I ran the Count Pages plugin in Calibre and it estimated 113 pages. Would I be able to use that as the page count?

Celia Buell (semi hiatus) (celiareadsbooks) | 3944 comments Felicia, can you link the review thread on the Sherlock Holmes chat page in your first comment? It's not linked. Thanks

I'm so sorry, I suck. You can use that yes. If that happens again in the future, just feel free to post and explain what you did in that comment and I'll count it. :)

It's okay! I actually already posted this one because Alaina said yes. But I'll remember for the future. Thank you!

☘Misericordia☘ ⚡ϟ⚡⛈⚡☁ ❇️❤❣ (misericordia) | 711 comments If I read a book of 4 vols as an omnibus edition, would I have to submit it as such or could I split it into 4 guesses?

I'm sorry I didn't notice this. Uhm, I would say if the books are split on GR. Meaning there is separate GR pages for each volume then yes. And they need to be over 100 pages and you need to write a separate review for all four.

If there is only one GR pages with all four combined, then one guess.

Ruthie (ruthieram_reads) | 1993 comments Hi Felicia!

I've been in contact with Alaina about my work as a Reedsy judge and how to post that reading for page points. I was wondering if you'd allow me to make a guess for some of the individual short stories that have eye color, hair color etc. Not all of them have a guessable description. Or if I can do one guess for the whole grouping of stories?

Or should we stick with counting them as page points only?

I'm not sure what Alaina told you to do regarding pages. However, if whatever she told you to do to figure out the pages for what you're reading is over 100 pages total then you can use them for a guess. But if any of the stories is not over 100 pages. Then it cannot be used for a guess.
