Quarry- is it suggested to read them in order?

I’ve read Quarry and The First Quarry, and just ordered a few more. They seem like they’d each work as stand alone and the order not very important, like 007 movies. Any opinions?

That's right -- they were written out of chronological order and don't have to be read in chronological order. (Or publication order, for that matter.)
One of my first Quarry books was The Last Quarry so they definitely do not need to be read in order.Like Charles said, they were written and published out of order anyway.

HCC has been clutch for me through this COVID twilight zone, I’m about 30 books deep so far w about 20 more waiting on my shelf. Once I finish up Needful Things I’m planning on bingeing on Quarry. Great stuff.
