BOTM has an annual challenge they started last year.
It's ONLY through their app for your smartphone.

Download the app, review 2023 or 2024 BOTM books you ordered on their site

and receive a gift for completing their challenge.
We've gotten prizes like candles, socks, magnets, and sword bookmarks! We'll have to see what's new this year!

Feel free to make your own tracking thread or request a MOD to make you one.

Details:

* Books can be in more than one category so you do not have to read separate books for each one. 1 book can go for 2 or even all 3 mini challenges!
* Book swapped books or other BOTM books that you did not order from them will not qualify. It must be a book you ordered from BOTM that you can review from your account on their site.
*Only books bought within the last 2 years (current year and the previous year) will be included in your challenge once completed/reviewed.

Just a reminder, BOTM's new 2023 reading challenge is now on the app.

I believe they uppped the first round total read from 12 to 15.
The other 2 - debut and page pusher - are the same

and there's ANOTHER bonus badge that we don't know what it is yet!

Fingers crossed everyone makes it through the challenge! I'm excited to see what our rewards are this next year!

I'm 2 books away from unlocking the bonus badge. I've loved the past prizes of socks. Not too excited about a fuzzy keychain thing. But i can always use more bookmarks if i make it that far.

YES! We can do hardcover only tasks and also Hardcover or Audiobook tasks - there are 2 of each of those!

I received one today!

The first prize is a denim hat that says : Reading is Sexy

and the Second prize is a Sledge Hammer

Cool! I wasn't a member until Dec. 23, so I don't think it affected. Did you get the hat? Sounds cute...going to go look on my phone now. I wish they'd have it on the PC's too.

Well. . .it's any book you review on their app - it counts towards the prize! You just have to use the BOTM app, pick the book and do a small review and it adds it.

I DID get it - it's super cute!

AND I just qualified for the 2nd prize - a small Hammer type thing. lol It should be in my next box! I guess we'll see what this is when I get it!

Trisha, I was looking at you BOTM 2025 Reading Challenge and you have a lot of books listed for the new challenges, but you put a few that said they won't work for the 2025 challenge. How do you know? Do you have access to something we don't? Or is it somewhere and I missed it? Also, I didn't know that we can read books we got in 2024 for the 2025 challenges. Are they the same as this year?

Funny thing how much those cute little prizes mean. lol

So, the way the challenge works is:

the books that work have to be purchased through BOTM either same yere (so 2025) or the previous year (in this case, 2024)

So the books I've marked out as no longer work, they are 2023 and this is the last year they would work for the challenge


Have you downloaded the app so you can work on the challenge?

I received 2 hats and 2 hammer challenge crushers - and they are all so cute! My youngest took my second hammer! lol
but I hit 30 books on both accounts so I wasn't too worried 😊😊

That's amazing, Trisha! Thanks for the explanation, and (yes) I have had the app and worked on the challenges for 2024. I got them all done except I have one more debut book to go.

I can't wait to see the new challenge - I wonder if they will change anything. . .
