Ok, so I’m very curious to know. So what is you all’s favorite genre to read and why?

Of course YA, but that's REALLY big haha😂 but I really like dystopian, science fiction and fantasy:) I like when there is something different in the books than in "real life" I guess🤷♀️🤷♀️😊
For starters, I love YA <3 But, I also couldn't deny how much I love dystopian and fantasy especially when they have a parallel connection and resemblance to reality 😄 So I kinda love a blend of dystopian, YA & fantasy rather than any one genre in particular 🙃
One favorite genre is so hard to pick. I want to say fiction but that covers so much that it almost feels like cheating. I like YA but if I had to narrow it down, I'd say fantasy is one of my favorite genres. It covers such a wide variety of themes, ranging from Paranormal, to Urban Fantasy and High Fantasy and then you can also have historical fiction books with elements of fantasy woven in.
YA and middle grade are my favorite categories, for sure. Genre? That's hard, but I'd probably pick fantasy. Dystopian would be second.
My favourite types of books are ones that have really beautiful world building with well developed characters, high fantasy is probably my all time favourite genre/category.
romance and mystery (specifically murder mysteries)
Romcoms and Psychological thrillers, I know totally totally different genres but I can't just help choosing one.
I love fantasy books (kingdoms, elfs, magic, superpower....) and if the story has a romance better!!!i enjoy books where descriptions are wild, characters are developed and the dialogs are written in a unique way.

I love historian fantasy. Because seriously I need something that could take me away from this time zone and world.
@April I love that feeling!!When the book is so damn good it takes you to another planet and you start dreaming, living that experience!!!fantastic!!!I think that this is the reason why I read so much!!

My favorite is probably realistic-fiction or fantasy. I like fantasy because I can go to another world and experience things like magic but realistic-fiction is enjoyable at times too because characters are often more relatable and deal with current-day topics.

I love fantasy, sci-fi, romance, and dystopian. I've actually really gotten into the dystopian books lately, like Gone and Red Queen. (I know, I know. It's only 2 books, but like, right after one another and for me that counts for something) Fantasy is my absolute favorite, though. It's what most of my books are.
Im obsessed with fantasy, Dystopian, adventure/action, and the occasional supernatural romance
I love fantasy as in dragons witches vampire werewolves basically anything supernatural

and i do like my good romance every once in a while
my favorite is 100% fantasy! you can fit so many sub genres into it as well so, you get a wide variety
Oh, YA contemporary and/or romance all the way! I love the modernist style of contemporary books and how it touches on day-to-day things, and ofc you can never go wrong with a good romance.
All YA with magic or supernatural twists, so Fantasy, Dystopian, Sci-Fi, Supernatural, just to name a few
YA Fantasy for me. Its what got me back into reading. Also because I love to escape into a book (especially in another realm) when I'm feeling down or stressed, fantasy really helps me to do that.
YA Fantasy forever!!! Especially is it has romance in it lol 😂 I find YA books often have the best characters and storylines, so yeah, YA Fantasy!!
Personally fantasy and dystopian books are top tier and have the highest enjoyment from me
