It's a good story. Very unique, I think. I am excited to tackle it again. :)
I'll probably start - or shall I say re-start - the book this week sometime.

Awesome! Welcome!!

I need to catch up on my readathon books, but I'll start after that and probably read it slowly throughout the month, since it will be one of the few I'm reading that won't have library due dates.

Yes Zamira. As you read the book you can post about it, but you can also read it and then post your thoughts. If you post comments about the book (spoilers) then mark them.
You can mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.

Currently i'm with another buddy read (The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires) but i'll get to this one as soon as i finish.
Are any of you planning on reading the rest of the series in the following months? (as in, one book per month) I'd be interested in that

Hey there. Welcome to the buddy group! I will probably be reading the whole series though I am not sure if anyone else plans to :)

I can request for May (Book 2) and June (Book 3) :)

Thanks for doing that! :)

I am trying not to read 12 books at the same time like I did last month, so I'm waiting to start this for another week maybe.

Alright, cool. I hope you like it enough to join us for the rest of the series :)
Awesome!

50% is awesome. Glad you're enjoying it. I am starting it right now.

My only complain is that it was a light book- would have enjoyed it a bit more if i read it when i was younger, now i wanted a bit more of depth in the story (hopefully we see that in the next books) Hope you guys enjoy it :)

Welcome!!

Here are my thoughts. (view spoiler)

L'm in the middle, I didn't love it but didn't hate. I agree with SarahKat with being too YA. Some words they were using were pretty bizarre. I
I totally agree with you.

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!
