OMG, I love mystery books, and a little horror. I feel like we could really read like the same books at the same time.😁... Welcome!!!

I have two cats and my favourite show is supernatural. My room is currently a mess and I’m procrastinating from cleaning it. I’m also memorizing my script for drama as we speak. And that basically describes me
Welcome! I think you have given the best introduction so far! We are so excited to read with you!!!

I love reading (obviously!), writing (I'm a published author), drawing (it's not that good but... I try...), singing (out of tune mostly), and talking!
Books are amazing!!!

My favourite genre is fantasy, but I'll read anything if it's written well .

Thank you! I'm not sure about audio for Legal Crime just yet, but it's currently available in print and as an ebook.
Also, hi everyone! It's lovely to (virtually) meet you all :)
OMG I like many others am an audiobook girl. I mostly listen to audiobook instead of actually reading( I’m so lazy) anyways, But your book sounds so good I might change my ways.

😂 I rarely listen to audiobooks, I'm more of a 'physically turning the pages' type of girl xD

My favorite food is tempura ramen, my favorite city is Paris, I like Frank Ocean and my favorite drink is boba milk tea ;))

ooo which book do you recommend? :o

Karen M. McManus is such a good author! I've re-read One of Us is Next so many times. I'm looking forward to reading 'You'll be the Death of Me'... I think it's coming out this autumn/fall?
I would recommend Two Can Keep a Secret if you want a standalone and One of Us is Lying if you don't mind reading the sequel. To be honest, I think that One of Us is Next can be read without reading One of Us is Lying.

Hey my name is Madison. and Im 16. and I'm starting to like reading A lot more

That is an amazing teacher, I wish my teachers did that! It would encourage so many other students to pick up reading as a hobby! Unfortunately, many of my classmates don't like reading :(
They don't know what they're missing out on!

I love ya fantasy, contemporary romances, historical fiction and pretty much open to read anything! I enjoy filming/ editing videos in general and have started a booktube channel to combine my interests :) also love sewing/ clothes, learning languages and trying to get into photography. Honestly open to making any bookish friends, so we can rant about opinions on books together 😂

Historical Fiction (I’ve never read any real history)-
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and The Boy on the top of the Mountain. Both written by John Boyne, and both simple yet incredibly powerful books that are based off of the stories of the Jews in WWII.
Non-Fiction- Alive by Piers Paul Read. It’s a true story about a Rugby team that gets caught in a plane crash and get stuck high in the mountains where they are forced to do extremely challenging things to survive. I read it for a personal novel study in school last year, it was a very good book that’s hard to put down.
Fantasy- obviously I suggest Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter if you haven’t already read them. Also the Hobbit, I loved the Hobbit but I know many people didn’t because at the beginning it’s set at a slow pace. I also suggest anything by Raymond E. Feist
I haven’t read really any romance or classics, the one romance book I did read was Neighbourhood Girls by Jessie Anne Foley. I don’t remember much from it but it was the book that got me into reading so obviously it was pretty good to me when I was like 12.

surpisingly i haven't watched or read the harry potter series so that might be a good beginning... i'm not bothered with slow paced books as i'm always trying to be perseverant with reading so i might give the hobbit a chance :)
also i've already read the boy in the striped pajamas and borke my heart :,( i might then read the boy on top of the mountain.
thank you so much for the suggestions mayaa <3

yeah i got the notification but it wasn't in this chat when i checked it lol
