I've already read this book, but I'm curious on what everyone else will say about it. Looking forward to the discussions!

I've already read it and was great for ne, but am curious to see what people think 😊
I recently started and read chapter 1. This Luke guy seems to not understand responsibility... He's trying to force Luella to run away with him, even after she tells him she needs to stay behind as a healer. And then he ends up telling her parents that she agreed to marry him?!? Lol, he could've asked her first before making such an announcement.
I just read chapter 8. So far, I feel like its kind of predictable? Like earlier on I had a feeling the necklace Luke gave her hid her true abilities. So far I think its interesting! I'm curious to learn more about her role as Queen
Oh yay! Yeah it definitely is cheesy and predictable in parts gives a lot of beauty and beast vibes. But i think thats what i loved. Adored Luella as mc roo, she is stunning 💕
She is stunning! And I love the cover of this book!One thing I like about Luella is that she's a healer and I'm interested in healthcare, so it's always great to see a character with similar interests 😄

I actually finished this book yesterday!
it gave me beauty and the beast vibes so much! I also found the necklace part predictable
I took a break from the book but I continued reading today! So far I'm on chapter 19 and I'm glad the pace picked up. Also, Luella now has a goal in mind. She's learning how to use her magic and she's trying to figure out a way around the elf/human queen deal.
Chapter 20: I wonder what's the story between Eldas and Alice...
I read up to chapter 25 and I'm glad we're learning more about Eldas and seeing his vulnerabilities. I wasn't a fan of Luella and Eldas together but now I'm starting to like their interactions.
