Romance Readers Reading Challenges discussion

I just got to the part where Lane becomes the Captain. I am really starting to like his teammates a lot. Not sure about Zoe & Ryan, but whatever. I love Riley though and would definitely read his book!

I'm not sure about Zoe and Ryan either, but I suppose the author just wanted to tie up lose ends there lol

I'm not liking the way these guys discuss having a threesome or sleeping with other people like it's such a normal thing! I need them to be jealous and possessive!

So, I am guessing it doesn't get better....ugh I wanted that to fade with the "I love you" declarations and such...

Oooh singing in the epilogue!

Finished! 3.5 stars for me :) I enjoyed it overall, but I must say the first half was significantly better than the second. The epilogue was great though. I could feel Lane's disbelief and excitement on getting to play in the NHL. There were references to Jared being a son-in-law, but I couldn't tell if Lane's parents were just calling him that or if they actually got married.

Can't wait to see what you think!!

Omg, I love a great epilogue. Jared and the Renegades just won the Kelly Cup and they were saying what each of their phone backgrounds were.

I liked the book! I did not have any expectations going in, and it was good. I really liked how the angst was super low and I think mainly they were joking about the sharing aspect, as they never followed through and brought it up almost like a joke.

Me too! I typically gravitate to sports romances, so it was nice. How is Common Goal??

That's a good idea! I have an ARC I chose that is due soon, so I think I'm going to read it next. Show Me is the book, the 3rd in Neve Wilder's Extracurricular Activities series.
