jopyy Hi so I've been looking for YA Paranormal/Fantasy Romance books where the hero is nerdy and wears glasses.
I would like them to be in 1st person.
TIA :)

Cozen | 500 comments Well, I got a few things, some lacking an element.

First, Kresley Cole has the series “Immortals After Dark” and Dark Desires After Dusk (Immortals After Dark, #5) by Kresley Cole is book 5 in the series. However, each book can be read as a stand-alone (has a beginning, middle, and an ending). The lead female is the nerd/geek that is in college while working as a TA as she works towards her PHD. She’s a math geek who wears glasses and has OCD. That characteristic is well written and played out in this book. The problems though, this is not YA. Its a solid Adult Paranormal Romance book. So it gets hot and heavy. I’m also sure that it’s written in third person. It’s still really good.

Next book Suddenly Royal (The Royals, #1) by Nichole Chase Suddenly Royal is a good YA. Lite on the smoochies and is solid as a Contemporary story. The lead character is also a TA in college. But I don't know if I could full heartedly say she’s a geek or a nerd. She’s also going to college to obtain a PHD... if I remember correctly. BUT, she doesn’t wear glasses. Still a good book.

And last, Hell's Geek (Welcome To Hell, #5) by Eve Langlais Hell's Geek. This character is male who wears glasses. From the queen of slapstick comedy, Eve Langlais brings a new perception to Hell. Cleverly constructed. I would say it’s YA, lite on sex, but the characters might be older than normal (except perhaps the lead male) because eternity in Hell is still eternity in Hell. But our lead was born there so he might make the cut for YA. However, this is book 5 in the series. Could you read it by itself? Eh, Sure. But I think it helps with the progression of the series. Good news though, Langlais is a writing machine. She’s released a lot of books (sometimes 3 in a month) so the price tag on these are usually as low as $2.99 to $3.99 (as suppose to Cole’s price that you might want to look into your local library for an e-book program or go through the app Libby to get the free e-book rentals).

So, they kind of all lack a small element to your inquiry. Read the free samples book sellers usually have available to download before deciding.
