Oooo paranormal. I have never read anything paranormal. This would seem a good place to start. Sanderson is my favorite author and I pretty much own all the books by him. He usually writes adult fantasy but skyward was his first YA work. Read skyward and liked it. I am yet to read Starsight.

It's really beautiful Rushali. Definitely looks like a lot of work has gone into it. Great job you guys!!!

What!!? Just kidding. I'm a paranormal and Urban Fantasy junkie. The Psy-Changeling books are classified as Paranormal Romance. So each book gets a new couple lead.
I feel bad that I keep putting off Sanderson's work. It's odd because I watch his interviews, classes, and lessons. His books I just won't pick up! I know I'm going to love them!

Most of her shorts for the series require you already know characters are invested. So I don't think that's the best start.
Urban Fantasy:

First are adult and then YA. That should give you a starting point.

To be honest I don't care about page numbers. As long as the story is well paced and the page count utilized properly. Sounds like Sanderson makes you get the feels! I've watched interviews where he talks about how he "doesn't feel emotions" like everyone else, so he writes and reads to create them. It was so interesting. Maybe that's why I always hear about how powerful his works can be.
I just got done with a brillaint portal fantasy that I LOVED!

I've read or started all but three of those options thanks though.

Then you are gonna love his work. He writes some really complex and layered characters. It's just ❤. I love big books too. What's a portal fantasy? Like characters getting transferred to some other dimension or such? Never heard of it before.

Okay, I can dig up for lesser known titles if you want? I always do the big ones.

I have already read these and I love both! I am actually desperately waiting for the third book, are you with me there?

Yes!!! I own his Stormlight books in ebook form so that I don't have to worry about size! And wieght!
Yeah. Portal fantasy is someone from our world gets transported to another world/realm. Like Narnia. I'm a huge fantasy reader so sometimes I forget others don't know all the terms.
Like a lot of anime is portal fantasy. And Asian dramas in general. I think that's why I like them so much!

I keep seeing them floating around. It's not one of my top genres, and I'm pretty picky about it.

No I'm good you reminded me I should track down book 2 for Karen Chance's series.

I loved these. Kiss Quotient is my favourite of the two and yes I'm waiting for number 3. It's great to read about people on the spectrum written by someone is who also.

Yes! Book one is a bit rough, after book 2 the series is gold!
Oh, and have you checked out

The first book isn't the best for most. Book 2 is where you'll know if the series is for you.

Hey all! I need help, can someone link the famous Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare here?

Haha. I totally get you. Even I feel the compulsion to own every pretty edition of my favorites :)
I have heard of Nalini Singh though never read anything from her. You seem to be a big fan of hers. So what genre are these books exactly? Fantasy romance or contemporary ones?
My list of book bfs is too long but on the top of it is Kaladin from the Stormlight Archive. He doesn't even hav a romance arc in the books but I love him so much. I was really obsessed with him while reading the series.
