Lily Kirby (lilyisnotsilly) | 18 comments Hi guys! Like I know some of you are, I'm setting myself a goal to read twenty books this year. I've already read Eleanor and Park and am currently reading Love Rosie. I'm fairly open to most genres, can you guys recommend me some more books to read? Running low on inspiration! Xx

Becca | 9 comments If you like Les Mis I would highly recommend A Little In Love by Susan Fletcher. I literally just finished reading it and it's amazing. It tells Eponine's story and it's both beautiful and heartbreaking.

Amelia Edwards | 9 comments I've just finished Landline, so if you like Rainbow Rowell's writing style, that's definitely one I'd recommend. It had a really fascinating plot.

Catalina | 152 comments If you haven't already, I suggest you check out the thread "100 Stand Alone Novels" in this group, where we listed a bunch of stand alone novels (from different genres). Here's the link in case you want to take a look at it: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Good luck! :)

Angela Jr. i really want to read eleanor and park soon!! here are some of my recommendations :)

the five people you meet in heaven by mitch albom, every day by david levithan (i just cannot get enough of this book), the fever series by karen moning, the inkworld series by cornelia funke, it's kind of a funny story by ned vizzini, looking for alaska by john green, the boy in the striped pyjamas by john boyne, how to be good by nick hornby, the book thief by markus zusak, fangirl by rainbow rowell and if you're looking for something fun, i'd recommend the georgia nicolson series by louise rennison - it's the diary of a 15 year old (i think) girl from the uk

these are all the ones that i've already read and can confirm are amazing and well worth your time ;) and here are some that i personally haven't read yet but i'm very much looking forward to finally getting to them:

we were liars by e. lockhart, miss peregrine's home for peculiar children by ransom riggs, gone girl by gillian flynn, the lover's dictionary by david levithan

Hi Lily! If you liked those two hooks in the romance genre you should give the Fault in Our Stars a try (I'm probably not the first to say that haha) and Outlander is fantastic! It is set in Scotland in the 1700s and is a bout a woman in he 40s who was thrown back in time and is a great romance! Also one of my favorite books is Throne of Glass which is a paranormal romance book about an assassin, (and there's also some great romance!) hope these help!

Shona (shonalee) | 109 comments If you haven't read it already you have got to read one million lovely letters. I'm over half way through at the moment and think it is an incredible story.

Emilie Anderssen (emiliepa) | 20 comments I also suggest going through the 100 stand alone novels list, as there are a lot of great books on that list, but if not I have really enjoyed these books lately: The Martian by Andy Weir (about an astronaut stranded on Mars after a Nasa mission goes wrong), The Ocean at The End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman, The Shock Of the Fall and The Silver Linings Playbook. Quite different genres, but I found the way they were written and the stories very interesting and enjoyable. xx
