Really love this book.

I'm really struggling to get through this book, it's just not interesting to me at all

I finished this book a few days ago, I'm just going to copy paste my review:
"I have mixed feelings about this book.
When I started reading I kept thinking that the world was silly until I got halfway through the book and this world grew on me. The real turn off for me was how incredibly predictable the whole book was. Within the first 6 chapters I had guessed correctly the main plot twists that were meant to be a surprise by the end of the book. Every time a new plot device was introduced, you could clearly see how it was going to turn out.
Even so, I found myself unable to stop reading. Specially because the protagonist feels so real and believable. The selling point for this book is Meira, who you see grow throughout the book and hooks you in to the story. She is scared, she is brave, strong, weak, smart, clueless, loyal, stubborn, hardworking, a princess and a warrior... Meira is a complete character and it's her that made me like the book more than I would have.
If you want a quick read with a strong character then this is a book you should read."
My favorite character was Meira, as you can clearly see. Between Mather and Theron? Definitely Theron, but not because I don't like Mather.
I think circumstances just made it difficult for a Meira/Mather relationship to work out. I like them as best friends, but with Theron there's a real opportunity and foundation for a great relationship. Theron sees Meira as an equal and I think he even admires her. They both play to each others strengths, they help each other be better and stronger.

I agree with your thoughts on Theron.
I eventually got into it, and was surprised that I ended up liking Theron and Meira quite a bit. Overall, the book was okay, but not outstanding

I agree with your thoughts on the relationship between Theron and Meira. Their dynamic was just fun and interesting to read about. I can't wait for the second one to see how their relationship plays out.
Plus, I'm curious to see how Meira handles everything that was thrown at her at the end of the novel. Her life has done a 180 and I'm excited to see how this effects her as a person.

This book is so so so so so so so amazing!
Who was your favorite character?
